Chapter 9

Johns POV

Karkat has visited the last couple of days. That dove guy keeps floating around but I'm more interested in karkat. He seems so cool. Angry, but cool. Karkat would tell me all these types of stories to help me sleep, knowing I would have trouble. My head has been hurting a lot lately and I keep getting flashbacks. I think Dave has been admitted to the mental hospital on the other side of the hospital. I kinda feel sorry for him. I mean all this time he's being trying to help me remember and it's made him crazy. Poor guy. I kept pushing him away.

Karkat thinks that I should forget about Dave and stay with him. I really like Karkat but... There's something about dave. However Karkat is really sweet and funny at times. And I remember Karkat so he must be important to me. If dave was so important to me I would have remembered him by now. I must like Karkat. I would never of remembered him if I never had feelings for him.

But Dave. It'll break Dave. Dave was here from day 1. He's been worried and stressed about me from the start and now I'm just going on to Karkat like nothing happened. Like nothing happened. But Karkat just seems like, more my type I suppose. I don't know I'm just so very confused.

I'm going to stick with Karkat. It'll be great! I'm sure of it.

Dave's POV

All this pain.

What pain? Dave you're okay.

Johns forgotten about me. I loved him.

And know he loves Karkat.

He betrayedme.

He betrayed us.

I trusted him.

He tore you apart.

Why?

Because, deep down he never loved you.

It was always Karkat.

It was always Karkat.

Now look at me. I'm sitting in a white padded room in a white jacket.
