"It's so lovely to see you Mrs. Lina." Mica smiles as she steps off the small plane. It's probably 6 in the morning and I'm exhausted, but I wanted to help Mica get to the house. Besides, the sunrise looks beautiful. I had to walk down the nature-made staircase, and helping her wouldn't kill me. I was going to wake up James and ask him if he wanted to come but he looked so comfortable sleeping.I return the smile and give her a small hug. "We missed you." I say and she giggles. Who looks like the pilot of the plane grabs her bags and sits them down next to her. She thanks him and he gives her his goodbyes. He looks like a nice guy, Probably in his late 30's. Maybe he's known Mica for a long time as well as James.
He has black hair and green eyes. They are very hypnotizing. He gives me a smile which out of courtesy I return. Mica soon kicks him out and he leaves, getting inside the plane, waving goodbye to both of us. Well, to Mica.
"Mr. James probably isn't gonna be happy to see me. He probably wanted more time alone with you." She giggles and grabs her bags. I help her with one and we make our way to the house through the longest staircase I've ever walked. It's made out of some rocks, and it's on a hill so that makes it a bit harder to walk up it.
"Don't say that," I chuckle. "He is very happy, You're actually one of the few people he actually really admires." I put her bag on her small bed. She does the same with the other one and she sits down and takes a deep breath.
"I heard the rain was horrible!" Mica wrinkles her nose.
"It.. It was beautiful. We were on the beach while it rained the first day." I remember playing catch in the cold sand. I also remember our experience in the shower and my cheeks burn. "I got sick actually," I change what I was thinking about. Mica's eyes suddenly widen.
"Oh my, Are you alright? Do you feel better? Or do you want some medicine?" Her worry makes me happy. She reminds me slightly of my mother.
"I'm okay." I smile. "James took great care of me.." I must look so stupid smiling so much at the simple mention of his name.
"In sickness and in health," I hear a hoarse voice. I turn around and James is standing in the doorway. He has a black t-shirt and black shorts. His blonde curls a beautiful contrast.
"Mr. James.." Mica stands up and greets him.
"Hello Mica, it's good to see you enjoyed your small vacations as well," He says. She looks so fresh, like if she slept for days.
"Not really. I had to take care of my grandkids, I love them.. But they can really be a pain in the a-" She stops herself and I laugh, standing up. She grabs things out of her smaller bag, and I see it's shampoo, a toothbrush, and other things like that. She grabs them all and heads into the bathroom.
James stands behind me and I feel his arms wrap around me and he begins rubbing my stomach and I smile. "Why didn't you wake me up? I could've helped you." He whispers in my ear, probably referring to the suitcases.
"We handled it just fine. Just like some of the past weeks. Just her and I." I say and turn around. I have a frown on my face and he looks slightly mad.
"Don't say that." He says. "You didn't want to be near me, so I stayed away. Now, it's different." He grabs my hand and kisses it. The small gesture makes me smile and I connect our lips for a small peck.
"I'm sorry for saying that." I shake my head. "Um, I'm tired baby.. I'm gonna go to bed for a little bit." I say.
"Yeah, let's go. I want to talk," He grabs my hand.
"Um, I wanna sleep." I smile and he rolls his eyes playfully. "Fine, We'll talk," I roll my eyes playfully as well.
"Bye Mica, We're gonna go.. See you in a few hours when we wake up." James says and he carries me into his arms, bridal style. I scream slightly and soon begin laughing a lot.
