Amy and my fake parents left the room.

"That'll teach you to stop acting like if you were more than just a simple maid. Might as well sign the papers now, Once he gets back he'll probably sign them." She seems so happy. I'm being completely destroyed. My life has fallen apart in the last 5 minutes and I want to hurt her, but I know that won't really make me feel any better.

"What do you get out of my life being ruined? What do you get out of this?" I cry.

"Studying is hard, you know. I was ready to give it all up, but I realized that I'd have to become a maid, gross huh?" She laughed at me, mocking me. "I needed to find a way to reassure my stableness for the rest of my life. When I got home last night, and found out you weren't home.. It was pretty strange. My parents love you, so they wouldn't just fire you. So I got it out of my mom. You had married that rich kid. But c'mon, what kind of father would want his wealthy son to marry a maid? No father would. So I forced my mom to tell me. That man thought you were a Reynolds. So I saw my chance, and took it. Now, after I told that man the truth, he promised me marriage with his son. I can quit school too," She smirked at me.

"I hate you. I have never treated you in a bad way. Why would you do this to me?!" I scream again. I can't believe that she's going to marry James. I really hope James doesn't sign the papers out of anger towards me.

"Oh c'mon Lina. Stop being selfish. It's not like he actually loves you, how could he? You're so ugly," She smiles at me. "Stop being stubborn and sign the papers." She laughs at me.

"No," I back away from her. "I need to find him and explain."

"Whatever," She rolls her eyes. "I already have my marriage with him ensured. Oh, by the way.. Is he any good in bed?" She winks.

I don't know what happens to me in that moment. My hand swings across the room before connecting as hard as it can with her cheek.

She grabs her cheek and holds it in shock. "You stupid maid! You have the audacity to hit me?" She looks furious.

"We are sisters after all." I say, kind of proud of my comeback, and exit the room leaving her doing her usual tantrum.

I run to James's office and everyone is looking at me. I probably look horrible with the dry tears on my cheeks.

Mrs. Reynolds and Amy are sitting on the couch.

"Mrs. Reynolds- Why did you tell her? My life is ruined." I cry.

"Lina, I didn't mean to." She stands up, worry on her features.

"You did though." I want to blame her for everything but I know it isn't her fault that her daughter is the horrible way she is. "Where is James?" I ask Amy.

"Lina, he is pretty mad. He drove off in his car." She tells me.

"Where is your husband?" I growl.

"He's taking his medicine. He can't get too mad or his heart starts having trouble. He's calming down." She answers me.

"I hate you all! None of you care about the fact that James and I love each other, you only care about what the people will say." I yell at them.

"Laurie would hate me," Mrs. Reynolds cried.

"Yeah, she would." I agree with her. "Andrea is such an evil person, and I can't believe you aren't a bit mad at her. I thought you were like my mother."

"I am Lina, I am. You can come home until we figure out what to do about this whole situation. Until then, I- I'm going to ask Andrea to leave the house. So you feel more comfortable." She promises me.
