Alot of horrible things have been going on in my life, and I didn't have the energy or spirit to continue writing. Mariana didn't want to unless I did, so that's why. :(
We still love you all and we appreciate everyone who is still here and reading this! It will never happen again and we are so so sooo sorry! Now enjoy this chapter!(:
I check up on the dish in the oven and I already know I'm looking like a sweaty pig.
In part because of how nervous I am, and also because of the air coming from the oven.
It's been raining all day and it just stopped a few hours ago, but it's pretty chilly outside so I open the big doors and let the wind inside.
It dries up some of the sweat on my forehead and I quickly run to the shower to get clean for the dinner.
James is in front of the closet and he's picking out a shirt. He has these black pants that fit him perfectly, as his abs sit there naked.
"James, check up on the food please? I'm gonna shower quickly." I smile at him.
"Okay baby," He says while pulling out a navy blue shirt and it looks way too good on him. It looks like some really fancy material and he quickly puts it on.
He begins folding the sleeves and soon it's at his elbows.
He stands in front of the mirror and unbuttons the first button of the shirt and you can see his chest. It's tan and very muscular.
"Like what you see?" His voice fills my head and I shake my head. He caught me staring.
"I- I'm gonna shower now." I enter the bathroom and close the door.
Once I'm done, I change into my outfit, which is a small white dress, I actually really like this dress. I put it on without a bra, and I feel.. sexy.
I don't feel that way too often so I'm really enjoying this feeling. I really think James will like everything I planned.
I put my ring on and make my way to the dining room to set everything up.
It's all set up and the food is on the table already.
"I set it up," James smiles.
"I can see that. Thank you." I say and we both sit down.
"Okay, should we give cheers first?" He coughs slightly.
"Cheers? To what?" I have a flirty smile on my face.
"To us. To our marriage. To god for letting me meet you." He grabs my hand.
"Cheers!" I smile and take a sip from my glass of wine.
"Can I tell you something?" James puts down his glass.
"Anything." I take a deep breath.
"When I saw you for the first time, at the wedding of Laurie and I," I feel guilt when I hear Laurie's name. "I-" He chuckles to himself. "I thought you were the bride. Black dress and all." I begin laughing.
"What? Why?" I giggle.
"I don't know, but.. I was hoping it was you. When you saw me that day, and I saw you, You looked just as miserable as me. I thought that our marriage might just work out. We could help each other be less miserable."
"And what happened when you found out I wasn't the bride? What happened when you found out that she had died?" I ask him, now that the topic is open. I'm going to take advantage of this and ask him everything I want to know.
