It didn't take long before I was taught another lesson, letting me know that next time I'll learn to hold my tongue. I sat on the floor my dress circled around me, now not so white anymore. Life doesn't let you be happy for too long, you can't say I was happy but at leased I was safe.

The door creaked open at the top of the stairs and light footsteps started coming closer to me. I scrunched up my eyebrows not knowing who it could be, but when the person came into view I was more than shocked.

"I knew something wasn't right when I hugged you, it's my gift you know. Reading people's emotion." Ammelia fumbled with the lock of my cell, before coming to remove chained up feet.

"I had always wished for Calebs mate, hoping she could put some sense into him. Or even some kind of emotion and when he told me he finally found you ? I was delighted, but I hear things and more importantly, I see." I stared at her in shock as she moved around before crouching before me.

"I expected him to blank you out, not be around you perhaps even have a few fights and shouts but lock you in the dungeon and torture you ? Beat you ? This is way out of hand." She stormed around and sudden fear rose through me.

"Please don't tell him." I whispered making her turn to me, sitting down with a sorrow expression.

"I know he's in there, I saw it when I- when I tried to take my life. I saw it in he's eyes and if you tell him, he'll get angry. I can't go through what he already put me through." She looked at me with sad eyes but nodded, leaving the dungeon like she had never been here.

The morning came and I was left early to prepare myself, look somewhat presentable. The bruises and cuts had disappeared as I stared into the mirror before me, my white hair plaited to the side a green dress clinging to my body.

"I would like to excuse my behaviour on last night's event. It was rude of me to act such way towards our guests, I hope you can forgive me." I announced out at the breakfast table, as most of our guests had stayed the night.

All which hummed and accept in sync making me smile and sit back down at my seat, Nathaniel positioned at my right staring at me with an expression I couldn't tell. Was he proud perhaps ? That I learned my lesson and took it so well. Or was he upset and felt guilty for what he has done, thinking maybe he could of just said something without using physical punishments.

It's something I won't find out, not right now anyway. Ammelia stared at me pity fully before turning her gaze to Nathaniel, who was speaking to her. But her answers were one worded and sharp, giving off that she was displeased about something. Keeping he's Aunt happy was on the top of he's list, which she knew. So when her eyes were filled with sadness once he got a good look at her, he's heart broke a little not knowing what he did wrong.

But I made a promise after she had left. It was my responsibility to break this monsters walls and soften this rock in he's chest, he calls a heart.
