"Oh how delighted I am to meet you." She squeeled like a young girl, clapping her hands after she let me go standing before us taking in the image.

Nathaniel placed he's hand on my lower back, a smile on he's face. One I haven't seen before making me stare up at him in a daze.

"It's very nice to meet you too, my lady." I bowed my head, smiling at her all my best.

"Oh stop with such curtsey, we're family now. Although I am still very disappointed in you for not inviting me to the ceremony." She frowned at Nathaniel who chuckled lightly.

"We couldn't wait, it was done very fast." I looked down fumbling with my hands, realising that I was lying to this wonderful woman. Lying about our so called loving relationship, lying about how we wanted this.

I didn't notice her staring at me curiously, my heart beat pounding heavily making my whole chest ache.

"I feel a strange vibe off you Ophelia, definitely not one I would expect from a newly mated young girl." Her eyes filled with worry staring at me, searching for answers.

"I'm alright, Miss Ammelia." I lied once again and weakly smiled at her, Nathaniel drifting off from the topic but I knew she wouldn't leave it go too easily.

"I grew up in Versalle, a beautiful town." I've been getting asked to many questions to recall, politely answering every one of them.

"Oh very nice, pity what happened. But they deserved what was coming to them." A man who had joined our little circle spoke out, catching my attention.

"Excuse me ?" I spat out frowning at him, catching glimpses of comments such as yes of course, the destruction was what they needed.

"My town was more than respectable and whatever was asked of them it was done. It had peaceful alliances and never in debt, once borrowed money it was always returned. The people of my town were well taken care off. Nothing less, nothing more." Some looked to the floor at my sudden remark and some stood in shock at my brave act.

Nathaniel quickly reappeared by my side with Ammelia, glaring down at me he's hand around my waist. Squeezing me tightly as a warning sign, I flinched at the slight discomfort.

"Oh we had heard they refused to give you up Ophelia. As we were told once you two realised that you were mates, your pack had tried to keep you away. Which was the reason for the destruction." Somebody has spoke out with the nonsense and lies they had been told and I could see Ammelia studying my expression.

I had to excuse myself storming out of the large hall, grasping a handful of dress to prevent me from tripping. A tight grip on my wrist stopped me from moving anymore, making me squirm in pain being harshly forced against the concrete walls.

"What do you think was that ? Do you think it's acceptable to act like this before out pack members and alliances ? Since you cannot behave in public, we have to teach you a lesson or two. Ezra, you know where to take her." And just with the click of he's fingers I was dragged down, down below.

Back down to the dungeons where I'd probably spend the rest of my times.
