The guests were already seated and awaiting us as I had to change, same with Nathaniel but he didn't take as long. The ladies had to take the entire dress off me, changing my hair and jewellery. My new dress was white silk, the back had a lace panel and the trail had a lace trim at the ends. It was beautiful, exactly like the first one but this one was a little more breathable.
I walked down with my three bridesmaids, all of us changed up. (Squad goals.) The large doors before us opened and everyones heads turned to our direction, making me a little uncomfortable my shyness taking the best of me. One body stood up, making my heart leap as always. I don't think I'd ever get used to this feeling, the stomach turning sensation he always gives me the moment I see him.
I smiled standing still watching him come closer to me, taking my hand in he's to twirl me around. He took me to the middle of the dance floor, our steps synced as we glided around the floor with our first dance. Everybody remained watching, the hall filled with an amazing atmosphere.
I spend the night dancing and being introduced to our big alliances, Alphas from all around the area. Everybody was laughing, enjoying the night and me most of all. I stared up at Nathaniel feeling the love fill my body, knowing there was no going back.
"Well Miss Ophelia Donafrio, can I ask for one dance ?" A young man stepped out of the crowed, my stomach suddenly dropping at the sight of him.
He was pale, with black hair and piercing blue eyes that stared right through your soul. He was mischievous, danger radiating off him. Yet I felt drawn to him, something told me I knew him, met him before. But I couldn't tell where or how, I just didn't remember no matter how hard I tried.
"Is everything alright, my dear ?" Nathaniel appeared by my side within seconds, he's cold stare back etched into he's features, glaring hard at the back before me. I could feel he was uneasy, protective feeling endangered in some kind of way.
"Yes, this young man was just asking me for a dance." I gave him a reassuring smile, squeezing him arm before leaving the man lead me out to the dance floor.
"Now we're some kind of alone, please do tell why every Alpha in this hall is watching us like hawks ?" I questioned glancing around the room, noticing every one of them piercing their eyes at us.
"You are in fact much more beautiful in person." My senses were on edge, telling me he was dangerous to be around.
"Not going to answer my question ?" I jerked my head to face him, feeling my face harden internally laughing that I was turning into Nathaniel.
"Your stronger than you think, watch yourself and those closest to you. Not even your big Alpha will save you." I frowned trying to pull away, but he's grip was tight. At that moment I could feel every Alpha take a step forward, noticing my struggle.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Nathaniel marching towards us, desperately glancing at him he's eyes filling with concern. And with that the man disappeared into thin air, as if he was never there. I turned in all directions, desperately trying find him between the heavy crowed.
"Who was he ?" I questioned feeling Nathaniels touch without even seeing him.
"We'll talk about this later, now come let us enjoy our night." He smiled warmly, planting a kiss on my lips washing all my worries away.
But that didn't mean I'd let it all go.
