It's been days, maybe weeks. I had lost count without the presence of Ophelia, in her unconscious state. I'd sleep in my empty bed, broken furniture scattering the floors. Nightmares flooding my sleeping state and the control over my wolf had been lost.

My three cousins Dmitri, Damon and Dominic all Alphas had gathered their own packs to increase availability of soldiers and fighters for our need, everyone desperately searching for whatever could help her.

Sleepless nights, filled with stirring from each side trying to escape reality for a moment. Instead my body shot forward my wolf sensing another presence in the room, my heart immediately jolting to a stop.

There she stood, in a white gown she had been changed into earlier. Her hair hanging loosely in waves down to her waist as she stood still before my bed.

"Ophelia ?" I whispered lightly almost scared at her sudden appearance after her unconsciousness for the past few weeks.

Her eyes remained dazed, not the ones I had grown warm to. She appeared almost possessed, striking fear within not knowing what to do with her.

"Save me." If hadn't my wolf hearing I would of missed her soft whisper. I stepped closed examining closely.

"Wake me up !" She shouted in fear before her petite body fell to the floor, grasping her in my arms.

When I carried her back to her bed, my skin still crawling with the latest events. People were already gathered fear circling their eyes until seeing me appear in the door. I did not pay attention to anybody, instead I walked quietly to her bed, laying her softly down her face looking peaceful again.

"Can somebody please tell me, why my unconscious mate was walking around the castle ?" My voice was calm tired of all the anger constantly consuming me.

"She was sleep walking Alpha, had she said anything to you ?"

"Yes and it made my skin crawl, we are all useless standing around while she is suffering." I left to clear my head, not wanting to hear another useless word of comfort or lies.

Leaving my wolf free, having him take control and take us wherever he feels. I shut out reality, everything feeling overwhelmed with the situation that has been going on for more than two weeks.

Almost hours have passed when I felt my wolf retreating, leaving me take control and return to my human form. I stood in the dark woods, the cool wind roughing hitting against my skin. I sniffed the air being in an unknown territory but couldn't sense anything, or anyone.

"The site on the dark land is where you shall be found."

The words rang in my ears as I laid eyes on the small cottage before me. It was in the middle of a clearing, dead black ground surrounding it with heavily crowded trees. It looked like the site of the dead, coldness lacing the air.

This is where she is.
