Chapter 21:

I look at those green eyes, the ones I've never forgotten. I freeze as I look at him. Tim, my husband, is pulling some books off the shelves and is studying them critically. It's been ten years, and a lot of things had changed.

I'm 26, and I'm married, but this time on my own free will. He's who I wanted to be with, the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

Except now everything has taken a serious twist.

I break the stare, and I look down at Ricky, our little son. I look at Tim and whisper, "Hey, I just want to go greet an old friend, take care of lil' Ricky here." I hand him over to him and he looks at me quizzically, but he nods and smiles.

I walk slowly towards Cameron. Oh yes I've heard all about his famous property company, it's all over the news. As I walk closer and closer to him, I feel all the history surrounding us. I wanted to fling myself at him, but catch myself before I do something stupid.

"Hey."

He gazes right into my eyes. "Hey."

"It's been a while."

He gives a little smile. "Yeah, it has."

There's a silence as we both look down on our shoes, as if something might magically sprout out from the ground.

"Hey." He says softly, and I look up. "Want to go get a coffee or something? Catch up on those five years?"

I look into his eyes and smile. "Yeah. I'd like that."

AN: I know it's a short chapter... but i want to keep u guys to guess :) use your imaginations :) until i post the next one.
