Chapter 13

"Rocky shut up!" I grumble from Rikers bed. Rocky snorts, "never gonna happen." I cover my head with Rikers pillow, "then go somewhere else i'm exhausted and you being loud isn't helping!" Rocky sighs, "fine fine but don't expect this kind of treatment again!" Rocky says stomping out of the room. "what treatment?" I ask myself before falling back asleep.

I wake up a little while later and it's pich dark in the room. I stand up and stumble down stairs and into the dining room were everyone is eating. "what time is it?" I ask looking groggily around. "It's 7 you slept all day." Riker says as i collapse in a chair. "seriously?" I ask surprised. Hannah nods, "yup, you must have been really tired!" "dang" I yawn shaking my head.

"Want some dinner?" Stormie ask already standing up. I shake my head, "no i'm not really hungry." Stormie sits back down, "are you feeling ok Nova?" she asks concerned. I nod, "yeah i feel fine just really tired." "still?" Katie asks looking up from her food. I yawn and nod, "yeah, night." i stand up and walk (well stumble actually) back up the stairs and collapse on Rikers bed.

I wake up to see Riker staring at me, he's sitting in a chair next to the bed. i sit up and stretch, "what time is it?" I ask looking around at the sunlight streaming into the room. "Nova you slept for 48 hours straight." Riker says his eyes wide. "that's," I say mentally counting, "two days?" Riker nods, "yeah it was kinda scary."

I shrug, "i feel fine." "are you hungry at least?" Riker asks. I shake my head, "no, not at all." Rikers eyes widen, "that can't be good its been over two days since you last ate." i shrug, "i'm just not hungry, not can you leave i'm tired." Riker shakes his head and grabs my hand, "come on you're going to eat something." he says pulling my down the stairs.

"Riker STOP!" I yell. Riker jerks to a stop, "what?" he asks. "just leave me alone! I'm fine just a little tired and not hungry" I snap pulling myself away from Riker. "Please just eat something?" he pleads. "no" "please for me." "its got to be a little bit." I give in. Riker walks into the kitchen and comes back with a carton of strawberries, "here eat five." he says.

I groan and pick on up, "ugh i'm not hungry!" "do it!" Riker growls angrily. Slightly scared i take a bite of it and swallow. Suddenly i'm ravenous! So hungry i could eat a horse (I bet i could it i tried to!)! I finish off the strawberry carton and walk into the kitchen Riker follows me looking surprised.

"Hungry?" he asks. I frown and nod, "starved." "do i get a thank you?" he asks. i shake my head and scowl, "no!" I start stuffing my face with food and when i'm finally full Stormie walks into the room. "Nova! your awake! great! I thought we might need to take you to the doctors!" I shudder, "i'm glad i woke up!"

I walk into the living room and see everyone staring at the screen with nervous and scared looks on their faces. "hey who died?" I ask walking in. "Nova!" They cry jumping up and crushing my in a hug. "Guys!.....can't breath!" I gasp. They pull back, "sorry." Rydel mutters. "we thought you weren't gonna wake up!" Hannah exclaims.

"was it really that weird?" I ask surprised. Ross nods, "yeah Rocky even got an air horn and blew it in your face trying to wake you up." "really!?" I ask shocked. Rocky nods, "yup it was pretty fun actually but it didn't work." "obviously." Ryland mutters. Rocky punches him in the arm then grabs Tiffanys hand, "come on lets go somewhere." He pulls Tiffany out of the room who throws us a wave over her shoulder.

"who's up for a sneak attack on Ratliff?" I ask looking around. Hannah and Rydel grin, "lets go!" We jump in the car and take off for Ratliffs house. "You realize we always leave Trevor with your mom and never ask her." Katie states making us laugh. "hey she said she wanted a younger kid, and she got one!" Ryland says.

We arrive at Ratliffs house but i get Riker to park a few houses down so he won't see the car. (A/N: I HAVE NEVER SEEN A PICTURE OF RATLIFFS HOUSE OR IF I DID I DIDN'T KNOW IT SO THIS IS MY IMAGINATION!) We walk over and into the backyard. We then sneak into the house from the backdoor and into the living room.
