Chapter 10

                    Jerseys POV

I was standing in hallway,"w..what happened...where am I" I said out loud in confusion.
all the sudden I hear a voice from behind me, I spun around, "who's there" I asked.
I see a woman like figure in the shadows. "Show yourself" I demanded.
The figure spun around so quick all I could see was the tips of her long blonde hair come out of the shadows..only to be pulled in again as she ran away.
"Wait..come back..COME BACK" I screamed running down the hall after her.
"Jess..JESS" I heard a voice yell is it blinked a couple of times and set up quickly in a bed.
"Come back" I yelled again scanning the room for the girl that I saw.
"Where am I" I asked.
"Relax..you're in the infirmary" I hear wash say quietly.
"You're here" I whisper.
"Of course...why wouldn't I be here" he responded.
I smiled leaning back down resting my head on the soft pillow of the medical bed, he rested his hand in my hand.
I knew I was safe when I was with him.
And I certainly knew that someday we will both leave the project and go back to earth..together forever.
"when can I leave" I asked.
"you can leave right now if you're feeling up to it" wash answered.
"Ok..let's blow this popsicle stand" I said laughing and getting off the bed.

                     Wash's POV
As me and Jess are walking down the hallway, I look over at her and seeing  her short black hair with a couple of red streaks on the side reminded me of the last time we were in Battle together.

"Hey..Earth to wash" just said waving her hands in Front of my face.
"oh..sorry I was just thinking" I responded.
"about what" she asked.
"Um..nothing" I answered as we reached her doorway.
"well I guess this is-"I was interrupted by Jess jumping up into my arms, I embraced her back quickly putting in her door code, I carry her in the room embracing her more and more.
I laid her down on the bed still kissing her.

In the middle of the night I flipped over to get more comfortable, I opened my eyes to see Jess blink a couple of times.
I could tell she was about to wake up..she always woke up every single night at the exact same time..11:42..I know this because that's the time that it happened..you know the mission.
"Shh..shh..go back to sleep"I whispered to her brushing aside a few hairs that covered her eyes.
She yawned and smiled.
"My name is...Hazel" she barely got out as she yawned again slip back into a deep,deep sleep.
Hazel..that's a beautiful name. I thought to myself as a drifted back to sleep.
