"Dan, are you sure you're okay with this?"
I nodded
Because if I didn't, you'd stay
But you would be sad.
Because I stopped you from living your life.
A life without me.
I wanted to blurt out the truth,
I can't live without you
But you smiled so big when you saw that I was 'happy' to move on.
And I knew that you never wanted to hurt me by leaving.
And you'd do anything to see me happy
Even if it meant sacrificing your future,
Even if it meant staying with me for the rest of your life.
so I let you go.
