The last comment drove me on edge.
I quit.
So as I sign the last page of the application form to be a secretary for a bratty lawyer,
Only your encouraging eyes run through my mind.
Would you be proud of how easily I gave up on the last thing that ties us together.
Your encouraging eyes running through my brain were almost enough to stop me from mailing my application.
But they weren't.
Because I remembered your sad eyes when you quit on us.
And decided we both need to go our separate ways.
