I woke up in a hospital room.
It was dark, as my eyes darted around the room. There was a huge pain in my head, as I sat up and took in the blurs of faces around me. They started at me, as I concentrated on each one. Everything felt... Empty. I had no memory of anything, but it feels like I know all of them except for one. I darted my eyes over to one, staring at me expectantly. He had brown hair, shaved on both sides of his head.
"Josh?" I guess, as he looks sort of relieved.
"Riley?" he says back.
"Your name is Josh, right? I question, as he gulps and nods.
"Hun, how do you feel?" a familiar voice says to me.
"Dad?" I ask, as he nods. "Why don't I remember anything?"
"Well... You were at a concert, and passed out due to dehydration. However when you fell, you hit your head pretty hard and all those people around you didn't help. Some ended up falling and stepping... And thats when Tyler got to you. You have a concussion, which is why the lights are off." a women says.
"Mom?" I question as she nods. "Who's Tyler?"
The unfamiliar one frowns and looks down, as Josh sets a hand on his shoulder. "You're Tyler?" I guess, as he nods.
"How much do you remember?" Josh asks.
"Names and common stuff... When did I meet you, Tyler?" I ask.
"Around two days ago, now..." he says, trailing off. I nod, not knowing what to say next.
"I'll get the doctor." my mother says, standing up. She leaves the room, leaving the four of us. I started to zone out, as my brother, Tyler, and my father started talking.
It feels weird to not know anything about yourself. Its also kind of scary, not knowing if there was anyone else besides my family who meant something big in my life. There is absolutely nothing in my head except for names of my closest family. I remember my two sisters and my other brother, who are somewhere at the moment.
The door then creaks open slightly, letting a little bit of light in which hurts my head. Then my mom comes through, with a man who I expected was the doctor.
"Miss. Dun, how much do you know about yourself?" the doctor asks, sitting in a chair next to my bed.
"Just... Family, my name and age. Thats all." I say, as the man nods.
"As the family... And friend of Riley, you'll need to help her remember things. Her memory could come back, or it couldn't." the doctor speaks, then stood up to leave.
"Thats all?" Josh asks, standing up.
"Joshua..." my mom scolds.
"Thats all we can do in this situation, sir. She'll be able to come home in about a week, depends on how much her brain heals from that concussion." the doctor says, leaving the room as Josh sighs. I stayed quiet, because what really could I say.
"Is there anything you want to know?" my mom asks finally. I roll my eyes, and nod.
"Is there anything important for me to know?" I ask, as she sighs.
"You're attending college right now, while studying music." my father says. I felt some sort of familiar ping in my chest on he said that.
"This part... May be hard to take in. But you have a boyfriend, also." Josh says, rubbing the back of his neck. I look down again. I had a boyfriend? I absolutely had no memory of him. It also makes me feel bad, too. A guy I don't even know who knows me better then I know myself, and now he's completely forgotten.
"Oh." I say, quietly. Everything just feels weird.
The doctor did say I was getting out in a week. It ended up happening, after me sleeping a lot whenever my family wasn't here. Tyler came more times also, which gave me a chance to get to know him. The day came when I finally got to leave, and I was glad. Josh, my mom, and dad showed up to come get me, and told me the news Josh was staying with us to take a little break from the band. Tyler was over spending time with his family, but will be coming to see us a few hours later.
A/N: Weird sudden change in Pov's, I'm sorry.

It was a lot to take in when the doctor told us what happened. She must be scared and confused, it being a lot to take in. He described it like her brain decided to give up on everything it knows for some reason. At the concert, when Tyler stopped singing and jumped off the stage, I immediately knew what happened. Prior to that I asked him to steal glances towards Riley since she was placed in her view while I'm at the other side of the stage.
I decided to stay here longer thinking I might be able to find something, anything that can get her to have at least one memory. I took a look around my old room, and leaned back. I've missed being here the past two years.
My door then swings open so hard, I'm surprised it didn't come off the hinges. Tyler stands there out of breath, as I give him a confused look.
"What the heck, Tyler?"
"Riley's missing."
A/N: Cliffhanger.
Not sorry at all. Haven't done that as often as I should.
Also I may have blabbed a bit too much in this chapter, but oh well.
