|-/Riley Dun\-|
The tour went by fast, and so did the next year. Around the end of 2014, Tyler proposed in which I said yes. We planned for the wedding to happen sometime in March, a bit more before the release of their album blurryface. I moved in with Tyler a bit before that. We both spent a lot of time wedding planning, while I tired to find a dress. Erica helped me, along with some other friends of mine.
I stopped my videos I did as a therapeutic thing awhile ago, on a comment from my therapist I still see occasionally. Everything was slowly getting better, after around three years of having no memory.
And the day I was getting married approached faster then I though it would, and faster then I wanted it too. I nervous about getting married, of course. I kept second guessing myself like I did all those years ago when Tyler and I first got together. I woke up next to him again, where he was already awake and staring at the ceiling. Once he sees that I'm awake, he turns on his side to face me.
"Todays the day." he tells me.
"It is." I smile.
"Are you nervous?" he asks.
"Yes."
"Don't be." he tells me, kissing my forehead. "What time is it?"
I look to see, and the clock says eleven. The wedding started at four, and we had a lot to do. So naturally I freaked out and jumped up. Tyler did too, right when I ran into the bathroom to take my shower. I rinsed myself, and got lost in my thoughts again. By the end of the day, I'd no longer be Riley Dun. I'd be Riley Joseph.
Riley Joseph.
It almost makes me laugh when I think about it. During everything I've never had the thought of ever getting married on my mind. I was too busy trying not to loose it.
I knew I had to get out of the shower, so I put on some sweats and blow dried my hair. By the time I was finished, Tyler left me a note so I went to my parents house where I was meeting Erica. I opened up the door, where my mom sat at the table.
"She's not here yet." she tells me. "We can get started, if you want?"
I nod then started upstairs, while texting Erica to just let herself in when she gets here. I got changed into my wedding dress, just as Erica got here. Once she entered the room and saw me, her face let up as she smiled big.
"You look beautiful." she tells me, as I thank her. I sit down, as my mom starts to do my hair as Erica does my makeup.
Soon the time came when I got married.
And somehow, a happy ending that I didn't think existed happened. I thought I was always just gonna be stuck in a rut. I probably would still be if Tyler didn't come along. He's the one that changed it all, and made me remember that it didn't matter what happened then, it mattered what happened now.
Because in the end, I did get my happy ending.
