THE WHISPER OF LEAVES
The roots of autumn take hold,
Boisterous colours fill the blue,
Golden leaves shower down like snow
Mapping the ground;
Sheltering it from the frigid air.
Children scamper here and there,
Explosions of red and gold
Piles of leaves with stories untold.
Take a moment; and
Hear them whisper tenderly,
"Autumn's here, can't you see!"
