Theme: Good and Evil
Title: Psycho-Masochistic
When Jehovah asked the Serpent
What he sees in me-
He said: "his heart is the apple of a poisoned tree.
In its core are seeds of cyanide
That lust and scheme for war.
It holds a legion of demons that will salt and scorch the earth-That vessels just an animal that will never know its worth".
When the Serpent asked Jehovah,
What he sees in me-
He said: "His heart is a diamond that will shine eternally.
Within a host of Angels who bring joy, and peace on Earth
And I will walk beside him as he battles every curse".
When I look in the mirror,
I don't know what I see-
A reflection of two strangers asking
If I will agree.
