The Trust Between Mother and Daughter
To my darling daughter, you came into my life.
*Mother dearest, you gave me life
Like the promise of a new sunrise
*Loving me without seeing, blind faith at its best
Your eyes filled with awe at this new world you found
*You showed me the world like only a mother could
The joy that was in my heart the day you arrived
*How blessed to have been born to you,
Watching you first crawl,walk and grow
*Safe in your arms, with no fears or regrets
With each step you took I knew too soon you'd be on your way
*I'll always run to you, my mother, my safety net.
