Teamwork
forward steps taken alone
a backward notion so condoned
acknowledged yes, but not enjoyed
an empty reward, of substance- void
an acknowledged need for motivation
stimulus from another's participation
a stirring of the creative juices
a result to which their aim adduces
the ping pong exchange of un-thought thoughts
lays hidden in the successes we wrought
but our teamwork changed it all
had to stick it through - no withdrawal
minds yoked together in imagination
straining capacities for the perfect solution
egos sent to their rooms
accommodating threads of compromise in success' looms
in the end the fabric of our labour
comes together like laced fingers-
an imagined concept achieved
