"I'm coming home
Tell the world I'm coming home
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits and they've forgiven my mistakes
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Tell the world that I'm coming." - Coming Home Part One, Skylar Grey

It wasn't until I heard Kai shout to Dane, that I realized that we were under attack.

They seemed to materialize out of the shadows as the sun started it's decent down to meet the earth. They walking towards us. I knew we had gotten away from my uncle too easily, either this was a distraction or he had something bigger up his sleeve. It wouldn't surprise me. He was a lot like my father, masterminds who always had to be seven moves ahead of you.

A shadow had materialized it's hand out of the sidewalk and had taken me by the ankle, wrenching me down, collapsing onto the pavement of the parking lot.

Elena let out a shriek, and her blue eyes wide as she dropped to the ground to tug me away from the shadow. I tired kicking away at the hand, that had appeared out of the pavement, which looked almost like something out of a horror movie, dragging me into the pits of Hell.

My fingernails began digging into Elena's arm as I clung on for dear life. The shadows had unimaginable strength and nearly impossible to kill them. This is exactly how Kai and I had been taken months ago. I am not going back.

"Kai!" Elena yelled for my brother, as I began to lose my grip on her. I glanced over her shoulder to see the shadows materializing and trying to take Kai out. Ryker was preoccupied as he fought off the night demons and every time he reached back to punch one, they would evaporate into a puff of black smoke then reappear again only to take their shot at him. Dane...where was the brat?

I thought I had seen him as he began to blur, dodging and bypassing everyone of them as if he was some American Ninja. He tumbled and got up in almost inhumanly speed, running towards me, taking a little pocket knife out of his pocket and jammed it down on the hand that was tugging at my ankle. It dissipated quickly. Dane stood up and flipped the small pocket knife back and shoved it in his pocket.

Elena helped me up and I just stared at the kid. What just happened? I knew he was some sort of freak human. I just didn't know he was trained by Batman himself! Dane looked like Yoda...minus the green skin and large ears and being super old.

I steadied myself, but it was only for a moment that I was able to take a breath that something began shrieking as if it was a soul enduring eternal torment. I turned around to find the Banshee inches from my face. The dark face turned its lips up in a smile, showing all of its jagged teeth, it's purple eyes making the creature even more terrifying, "Erebus will see you shortly." The monster's grin became unnaturally wide as it returned to the sickening cackle.

I flicked my wrist and the flames instantly ignited as I wrapped my fingers around the distorted figures neck. Trying my hardest to burn it to a crisp, which I've found to be the only reliable way to get rid of a problem. But the creature let out a throaty laugh as it disappeared, seemingly unharmed.

Hearing a shriek of surprise, I turned my head to see that Elena's wide blue eyes were focused on my hand, looking as if it's been consumed by fire, "Oh my god!"
