Katani's POV

"Wowww!! Huge ballroom!" I exclaimed as we entered the ballroom and looked at it from the balcony, as the entrance was on a balcony.

We were all invited to a ball. To be honest, I've always wanted to go to one. And all us girls were wearing fancy dresses.

Dawn had her pink hair in a ponytail, with two loose strands on either side of her head. She wore some silver hair clip. Her gown was long sleeved and light pink with darker pink ribbons.

Her "date", as I call it (though it was not specifed), Midnight, was wearing some coat thingy.

Gwen and Rose had matching outfits. They both had side ponytails, Rose's on the right, Gwen's on the left. Both their gowns were sleeveless; Rose's was ocean blue and Gwen's was light blue.

Teshido and Techno were wearing an outfit similar to Midnight except Teshido's shirt was red and Techno's was silver.

Aisu was wearing a light blue, black, and white gown with no shoulders and sleeves (like Ciel's). Her white hair was in two ponytails, and she also wore a mini, white top hat.

I had on a solid black, sleeveless gown with some glitter and my hair in one long braid that went down to my waist.

As we walked down the long staircase, I looked over to the sides of the staircase. Three musicians on either side were playing music. Dancing music. There was one violinist, a pianist, and a flute player.

As we reached the end of the staircase, Techno jumped down to the ground then turned around, bowed slightly, and held out his hand to Aisu. "Shall we dance, milady?"

"Oh.. Why not?" Aisu said as she took his hand and they proceeded to the dance floor.

Seeing them walk away to dance, Dawn turned to look at Midnight by her side. Midnight looked back at her then assumed the same position Techno did just a moment ago. "Shall we dance too?" Dawn stayed silent for a while then smiled and took his hand, and they too walked off.

Rose, Gwen, Tesh, and I walked off to one side, where there were chairs. Tesh and I sat down, and just before Rose and Gwen were about to sit down, there was a voice behind 'em.

"Excuse me." The two sisters turned around to see two brothers; one was tall and had dark brown hair, the other also tall but shorter than his brother and with lighter brown hair. The taller of the brothers had his hand held out to Gwen as the younger one had his hand out to Rose.

The two accepted and then they too walked off to dance. Teshido and I just watched them walk off, Teshido wearing a 'O.O' face while I had a 'O3O' face.

I watched my friends dancing with their partners. I watched the violinists playing. I watched the pianists. I also watched the.. Flutists. I WATCHED EVERYTHING. I could not dance, and though the girl is supposed to follow the guy's steps, I had no partner.

"TESH!" I suddenly shouted as I stood up, dragging Teshido up to his feet by his sleeve.

"FOOD!!" Once a gap between the dancers opened up, I pointed at a table on the opposite side of the ballroom, where food was piled up. We both got a glance and began drooling. I looked at the dancers then the path around, thinking of how we could get there.
