"DID YOU OR DID YOU NOT DELIVER THE PACKAGE?!" the angry voice shouted at me through the phone.

'Owch..' I thought but did not dare say aloud.

"Yes grandma I did," I replied back as I hung up.

I put on my coat and walked outside, after closing up the curry shop. The tall gray buildings towered over me, looking as bland as ever. It was also cloudy today. Great..

I heard me phone ring. I pulled it out of my pocket and looked at the caller ID.

I picked up the phone. "Hai Katani!" I said.

"It's Dawn. Hi senpai! Are you coming today?" the voice at the other end replied.

"Yes I just left!"

"Okay! See ya there!" Dawn said before hanging up.

I pocketed my phone before sighing and looking around.

A certain shop caught my eye. My eyes wandered to the sign.

"Neko's Bakery and Sweets!" it said. My jaw dropped as I stared at it.

"I stared at it as whale.." I heard beside me and I turned my gaze towards a figure clothed in a black hoodie with the hood up, ripped jean shorts, tights, and for once, SHOES!

"Hai Katani!" I said and Dawn appeared on my other side. She was wearing a long purple coat and jeans.

"You wanna go get sweets?" Dawn asked as she smiled.

"Yes!" " 'Course!" we shouted in unison.

A moment later, we were sitting at table piled with desserts and sweets of all kinds.

"I always wonder how you're going to finish this but you somehow do." Dawn sweat dropped. "And you never get fat either.."

" 'Tis a bleshing child," I replied with a bite of brownie in my mouth.

When we were done, we just walked around the city. It was just after Christmas time but it was still lively. The lights were still up. It was pretty chilly too.

"Where did our Californian heat go?" Katani said as she walked, slouched over.

It was winter break so we had no school. All three of us went to the prestigious school of Fairy Tail Academy.

"I wonder how Gwen, Rose, Teshido, and Techno are spending their break.." Dawn wondered aloud.

"I haven't seen them since last year!" Katani said.

"What..?" I asked before blinking in realization. "Oh right. New Year's passed."

"Yeah. Remember? We went to that Emerald guy's house."

"Jewel.." I corrected.

"And I saw Katani at Buffet Star," Dawn said before pretending to wipe away a tear. "But we couldn't talk because we couldn't find each other." Katani sniffled.

Another place.. Another time..

"They're not responding.. Wonder what they could be doing." I sighed as I stared at my phone screen and reread the message I sent.

'HELLO!' it said. Right now, no one had read the message.

My eyes widened a little more when I said the D become an R. Soon after, someone was typing.

'Hulloo' Katani had replied. Aisu soon followed after with a 'Haii'. Not long after them, Dawn replied as well. 'Hallo' she had said.

"Yo" another response came. This one was from Teshido.
