Chapter 4: Anniversary - A Magical Evening

Third Person POV:

October 23, 20XX

It was a beautiful crisp autumn day. Today was not like any other day especially for both Kazuto and Asuna. Today marked a very special anniversary where they finally became a couple, back in Aincrad.

Although Aincrad was a living hell, if Akihiko Kayaba haven't created Sword Art Online, the two of them wouldn't had met and fallen in love. Neither of them could image what life would be like if they didn't know each other.

Kazuto figured he would still be that awkward and antisocial boy in his classroom; someone who locked himself in his room playing nothing, but video games. As for Asuna, she would've continued on following her mother's orders and be forced to marry Sugou or to some other high wealthy suitor. Either way, their lives would've been miserable without the other person.

Luckily, what fate had instore for them was something that not too many people could find, true love. They are indeed a very lucky and blessed couple.

Just after five o'clock, Asuna was preparing her outfits for the night. As Asuna checked her closet for the perfect outfit. She thought to herself, Kirito and I will be going out to a romance dinner. Since my mother and father and big brother Kouichirou were all out on a three day business trip. I can invite him inside, because we already made previous arrangements that he would stay over for the night. We've been planning this for so long, I'm really nervous and excited. She happily blushed.

As she looked through her closet, she noticed on one of the hangers was a beautiful one strapped crimson red cocktail dress. She nearly forgotten that she previously own such a beautiful dress. She thought to herself, I found this a bit bold for me, but it should be enough to get Kirito excited to see me. She smiled and half giggled at the thought that Kirito would be speechless and fluster to see her wear this.

It was decided, Asuna was going to wear a one strapped crimson red cocktail dress with a pair of silver heels. Asuna prepared herself a bath before changing into the dress, but needed to double check on another special outfit she was saving for until later that evening.

It was six o'clock when Kazuto checked his watch. He'd bathed and changed into an appropriate suit for the occasion. All was left was for him to pick up his princess on his black motorcycle. He grabbed his keys, jacket, wallet, and helmet. He slipped on his black motorcycle rider's jacket and helmet then started the engine and drive off to meet up with his soulmate.

Asuna's POV:

After taking a nice scented and warm bath. I put on that one strapped crimson red cocktail dress and wore a pair of silver heels. I braided my hair the same way I always have it and tied it with a small red ribbon that matched the color of the dress. I applied little to none make up on since Kirito always commented that I look perfectly fine without it, but for this once. Since it was our anniversary, I applied a little bit of red lipstick on that made me looked a little bolder and fierce and hoped Kirito would like it too.

After dolling myself up, I stepped back a little and did a quick spin in front of my full body mirror. Perfect, I told myself and smiled.

Suddenly, not a moment too soon, I heard a familiar sound from outside. It was the sound of a parked motorcycle. I looked out from my window and smiled. "He's here." I said as I quickly grabbed my red handbag purse and quickly checked my hair in front of the mirror, just in case, then left out the doors to meet my date.
