Chapter 28: Asuna and Kirito - Yui

Third Person's POV:

Oct 23, 20XX

Around noon; at a local restaurant –

Kazuto couldn't help smile as he gazed at Asuna. He loved everything about her. The way she smiled, the sound of her voice, and the way she conveyed her small gestures, reminded him how grateful he was to have someone like her in his life.

The couple decided to eat out at a local restaurant for their anniversary and were enjoying themselves. Kazuto wore a simple maroon colored shirt with a brown jacket and dark denim jeans. While Asuna wore a white long sleeve loose shirt over an orange tank top with a shy blush red colored skirt and gray leggings.

As Kazuto sipped his coffee, Asuna took the time to reveal to him, her final career choice. While she stared into the cup of tea in front her, she spoke "I thought long and hard about this ... and I decided." she then looks up at Kazuto with confidence, "I decided that I want to be a teacher."

Kazuto smiled, "That's great Asuna." he said as he reached his hand to touch hers "I support you no matter what."

"Thank you, Kirito." she said as the couple leaned in for a sweet tender kiss.

After parting the sweet kiss, "Have you told your parents yet?" he asked.

"No. Not yet, but I don't think my parents, especially my mother would mine it. My mom's a college professor. So she might've influenced me one way or another. And besides, I wanted to tell you first ... before anyone else ... since we'll be together for a long time." she says as she looks at the ring on her finger.

Kazuto smiled, "Asuna, I think that's great. I'm happy for you."

Asuna smiled back at him, "Come on, let's hurry back. We shouldn't keep Yui waiting. We have a birthday to celebrate as well." Kazuto nodded as they stood up from their table. They gathered their things and paid for the check.

Since it was a warm sunny day and the restaurant wasn't too far within distance of the university or apartment, the couple decided to walk to the restaurant and back.

Once the couple arrived back to their apartment, Kazuto had the sudden urge to picked up Asuna, bridal style, and carried her up the stairs. Asuna blushed, "K-Kirito?!?!"

"What? Can't I, a gentleman, be allowed to carry my fiancé up the stairs?"

"Huh ... you don't have to though."

"Come on, let me spoil you once in a while." he smiled. Asuna smiled back and give him permission to carry her up the stairs. The warmth of his embrace and the comfort of being in his arms made her feel safe.

Once they reached to the front door of the apartment, Kazuto carefully put Asuna down as he inserted the key to open the door.

After they closed the front door, Asuna went straight into the kitchen to pulled some frozen meat to defrost while they logged into ALO. As she was doing this, Kazuto quietly sneaks up behind her and wraps his hands around her waist, pulling her close to him. Asuna lets out a small yelp as he left kisses behind her neck that made her cutely squirm in his arms. "K-Kirito ... hold on." she said in kind tone as she gently pushed up against this chest. "Not now. Let me prep, so then we have something for dinner."

"I think I rather have 'you' for dinner." he said in a seductive voice.

"Hey now, none of that talk." she said putting her foot done. "We're going to be visiting Yui soon. Can't you wait until tonight?" Kazuto simply answered back with a quick peak on the lips. "you are so unbelievable." she teased as she kissed him back.
