Chapter 24: I Fell in Love Again

Kazuto's POV:

June 25, 20XX

I slowly open my eyes the next morning and the first thing I see is the sleeping face of my beautiful fiancé. I smile as I gaze at how her chestnut colored hair spills over the pillow.

'She's my soulmate.' I, happily, told myself. This women, before me, is the one who I will spend the rest of my life with until the end. I'm so grateful to have finally had the courage to propose to her. I also made a promise, both in Aincrad and last night, that I will do what I can to make her happy. And I will do what I can to make not just her dreams, but their dreams come true. I truly am blessed and lucky to had found my soulmate.

My eyes slowly began to close as my conscious grew dim as I lay down next to Asuna.

Asuna's POV:

As I open my eyes, I find myself looking at the sleeping face of my lover, Kazuto.

I been calling him Kirito ever since I first met him, but his real name was Kazuto. Now that we've been together for a long time and now engaged, I've been getting into the habit to say 'Kazuto' instead of 'Kirito'.

I couldn't resist watching his adorable, innocent sleeping face; so I decided to stay in bed a little longer, snuggling up against my fiancé, but then I hear a rumbling sound from my stomach. I regretfully sit up on the bed to grab some clothes to put on, but as I'm about to leave the bed, a hand pulls me back onto the bed. I look up and see that it was Kazuto. He has a playful smile on his face when he kisses me on the forehand and says, "Morning Honey."

Third Person's POV:

"Morning Dear." Asuna says as she quickly gives him a peak on the lips, "Mine getting off of me?"

"Let me think about it ... uh no." Kazuto answers as he kisses along her neck.

"Ka-Kazuto, what are you doing?" Asuna laughs from the tickling sensation of his lips.

"Oh nothing," he teased. "Just giving you, you're daily vitamin K and some love."

Asuna lets out a small giggle. "Then let me give you some vitamin A" she then playfully flips him over and kisses him on the lips.

"Oh and it's still so early." He teased.

"Well you started it." she smiled.

"That's because you look so sexy in the morning." He winked.

"Stop it." she blushed.

"Stop what?" he teased.

"Stop flirting with me."

"I can't help it." He smiled. "Plus, is it wrong for me to flirt with my fiancé?"

"No. Of course not." She peaks him on the lips again. "But today's our last day in Paradise. Let's make the most of it." Kazuto lets out a sad sigh, but willingly complies. The couple grab a quick breakfast from the hotel then got dressed and head out to spend another day in Paris.

The couple walk hand in hand, smiling and laughing, simply enjoying their time together. Asuna and Kazuto then decide to stop by a small café for some refreshments. Asuna orders a cup of chai and Kazuto orders a cup of coffee. They also ordered a special on the menu, bread and cream.

As the couple ate the bread with cream, certainly, stirred some old memories. It was like if someone pressed the replay button, where the couple remembered their first encounter.

Asuna slowly breathes in the scent of chai, and smell of fresh bread and cream. "This is nice." she smiled.

"Yeah it is." Kazuto smiled. "This definitely takes me back way back then." Asuna lightly giggles and they continue to talk. As Kazuto sips his cup of coffee, he reminds Asuna what they have plan, "So after this, we'll do a little shopping and then head into the water park. It's opened right now until 6pm." He says as he checks the time.
