Miranda's pov
We get to his house which he says I've been here a thousand times but I don't remember anything. I sit down, looking around the room. He stands by the door, extremely nervous. "I want to know everything from the beginning." I say, firmly. "I can't." He says, looking away. "Screw my parents! I don't care! I want to know!" I shout. "I do care! I promised them I wouldn't. Back then I did what they told me!" He gripes, finally looking at me. "Please!" I beg, clasping my hands together, the bracelet on my arm jingling. He sighs and walks over. "Well for starters, I gave you that bracelet." He says, pointing. I look at it. A solid gold band, almost like a wedding band only in bracelet form. It says til death do us part. "You did?" He smiles and nods, his arms crossed over his chest. "For our two year anniversary. We met freshman year and I..... Well.... I fell in love with you the moment I laid eyes on you. But being an older woman, I didn't expect you to like me back. So for 5 long months I watched you from afar. Until the homecoming dance." He says, dreamy eyed.

Jason's pov
Me and Luke were hanging out since we didn't have dates. My eyes stayed glued to the princess of Georgia. The hottest girl I'd ever seen. I sigh. "Isn't she swell, Luke?" He laughs. "Dude, she's way out of your league." He says. "I know but just thinking...." My voice drifts off as I daydream about holding her in my arms and kissing her. Then I hear Luke calling urgently for me. I blink a few times pulling me from my daydream and standing two feet in front of me was the girl I was thinking about. Luke looks like he's gonna panic. "Stop gawkin' at me!" She growls, punching me in the face. I see stars but that's not the only thing. I see that hot little girl's purple panties.

Miranda's pov
I can't help but laugh. "Wait! I punched you to the floor?" I gape. He laughs and nods. "A fond memory. The first time I saw a girl's underwear, the first time getting punched by a chick, and the first time literally falling in love." He says, holding my hand. I stare at him carefully, remembering the text. "But how do I know you aren't just some guy making this shit up to get laid? Because if you are-" "I'm not either way I know you are saving yourself for marriage." He cuts me off. How did he know?! It must be true!! I stumble back in shock and sit back down on the couch, staring at him. "See, I told you I shouldn't have told you! Now you're just gonna freak out." He says, annoyed. I'm about to reply when the door slams open. He spins around as Carl sends a fist his way. He grabs it and throws him back. "Go out back. Hurry." He struggles to say. "But-" "Don't worry about me! Just go!" He gripes, fighting against Carl. I stare at him worriedly then take off through the back only to come face to face with my parents. My dad throws me over his shoulder and into the car.
Jason's pov
"You better not have told her!" He growls. He pins me to the floor, a switchblade against my neck. I reach my hand out and clasp one of my dad's weights and hit him in the head with it. I run outside. "Miranda?" I call. All is silent. I see tire marks. Her parents.
Miranda's pov
"What did he tell you?" Dad yells. "Nothing!" I whimper, crying. Mom and dad exchange looks then Sierra my lifesaver walks over. "Mr. And Mrs. Brown, I think she needs some time to settle down. She was just kidnapped." Kidnapped? He didn't kidnap me. Did he? No I went willingly! Sierra puts a hand on my shoulder. We go to my room. "He did tell me something." I whisper. She stares at me waiting. "You won't tell my parents?" Her jaw drops. "Girl you're my sister from anotha mister! Would I dare break your trust?" She cries. I smile and hug her. "Thank you." I whimper, fighting back the tears. I tell her what he told me. "I don't remember any of it but I do believe it." "Wow, girl if this stuff is true, you have a real guy who really loves you. Don't miss that opportunity." Tears fill my eyes. "I don't know what I'd do without you! You are my closest friend." "Thanks Sierra." I spin around, my hand to my chest. Jason stands just outside my window, sitting in the tree outside. He jumps in. "How did you-" she starts. "How did I know your name? Easy, you're my girl's best friend." He says, smiling. Sierra locks eyes with me. Then mom calls my name. I look at Jason. "Hide but don't leave." I whisper. "I would never leave you." He says, hugging me. I run downstairs. "Are you lying to us?" She asks. I shake my head.
Sierra's pov
He sits on her bed, staring at the floor sadly. "There's so many things I wish I could tell her, show her. Just how bad I really need her, miss her, love her." He whispers, closing his eyes. He opens them again real quick and walks over to the closet. He hits the wall softly and a piece of wood comes out. He slides it out and it's a hidden compartment! I bet she didn't even know about it. He pulls out a piece of paper and a ring. He stares at it for a long time. "It's a promise ring." He whispers. "I made a promise the day of her accident, that I'd always be there, taking care of her, watching her, protecting her, and mostly loving her. Until that day she finally made a breakthrough. But she never did. I may not ever be able to get her memories back but I will get her back." He puts the ring back. "She can't know that's in there. Please don't tell her." I nod. "Jason, you're a great man." I say. He smiles. "I'm not a man. I'm just a kid who's fallen head over heels for a girl he can't have." He walks to the window. "Tell her I'm sorry and I love her but if her parents catch me here they'll call the cops." He slips out the window and slides down the tree. Everything I just witnessed, totally proves how strong and how powerful love is. I can't let Miranda lose that.
