I sighed as I stared at the air in front of my mirror. I wasn't really paying any attention to my reflection, just spacing out. I know today is Friday, and that I'm going to spend the day with Michelle and Whisper, maybe Sean also. But...I have that feeling, in my mind and heart, that there is something that is about to happen...or more people I am about to see...
But I have almost always had that feeling once or twice a week, maybe it's a normal thing. I shrugged my shoulders and continued with putting a thin line of black eyeliner under my grayish green eyes.
Whisper, Michelle and I were stuffing ice cream down our throats, each holding a whole container of Chocolate Marshmallow flavor and just chugging it down like we never saw ice cream before. It was now two-fifteen in the afternoon, and the three of us are sitting in my living room, each one is slouched anywhere and just chilling with our ice cream while letting all the talking -more of singing, to Paramore.
Hmm. I love ice cream, it is not only the frozen stuff that I love. I love food, really. It soothes me. Food has this miraculous ability of letting people forget about stuff for the while they're eating. I can count on it when one of my friends is having a bad time.
Our heads snapped to the direction of the front door as the bell rang. "Are you expecting someone?" Michelle said trying to wipe the smudging on the side of her mouth with her tongue.
"I told you guys this morning, that Sean might be coming. Maybe that's him, but he said he'll be here earlier..." I said as I swallowed the bit of ice cream that lingered at the end of my tongue, my shoulders shrugging.
"Well then, go answer the door." Whisper said a second before returning all her attention to her sweet delight. I rolled my eyes and got up.
"Well, well, someone is here early." I said as I looked Sean up and down. He was wearing dark blue slim jeans and a black undershirt with a brown leather jacket. He has always been an eye candy for everyone, and me too. He smiled one of amusement and squared his shoulders. "Come on in." I said opening the door wider and moving out of the way.
"I thought you were awake since morning." It was more of a question than a statement, but I nodded to confirm. "Well, I thought I better come earlier so that I won't be that bored; I was wide awake since eight." he continued indifferently. I almost laughed; Sean has been one to wake at probably three or four in the afternoon since he is always at late parties and stuff like that. He really did come here to chill out after all.
I nodded as I paced back to where I was sitting, claiming my sweets and spoon. Sean said hey to the others and headed for the minibar to get whatever. He ended up with a large can of Mountain Dew and a bag of chips off the coffee table. We remained that way untill Michelle got bored of it and decided to get the day going a little...different.
We spent the next three hours messing around the house and terrorizing some of our neighbors. I just love doing that, and with Michelle around, it's a pretty easy thing to do. Although it's a good thing that the neighbors know how we act because no one had to call the cops; if they were strangers, we would be sitting in a cell now, waiting for Becky to come and promise to never let us do such disturbance again.
Eventually we got bored from the house and we all decided to go to the mall. Whisper hopped into Michelle's car, and so did Michelle..duh! And stormed off, knowing that I would catch up straight away. Sean climbed up behind me and held me tight, aware of me loving ultimate speed. Just as he sat still, with his firm grip onto my waist, I wheeled the gas handle full throttle, engraving tire marks on the driveway, and screeched out onto the road and shot through the street. Finally, we all were back together, intending to do lots of shopping, eating, catching up, and most importantly-if there's any energy left- we could piss off a whole lot of people by joshing around...
