Munching and crunching sounds were filling the void in my living room. The result of boredom.

 My boredom and Whisper's.

Michelle was on her date with Patrick. He told me that he was taking her to a movie, and then a romantic dinner at this really classy restaurant. He really liked her; I could easily see it in his eyes, in the way he talks to her, in the way he looks at her, and into her eyes. I sighed. She is so lucky.

I wonder if I will ever find someone who could be like that to me, to protect me, and love me, to be able to live with me knowing who I really am...but...I guess I'm not that normal to have such a thing as human as love.

I sighed, and looked at Whisper, who was shoving down a fistful of chips down her mouth, she saw me move my head from the corner of her eye and looked at me with her cheeks puffed up, "Do you want some pizza?" I asked her. I was so bored I could eat a whole large pizza, maybe even three large ones for that matter.

"Ow ash mow-" She tried to say something but her mouth was too full, I don't think she can move her tongue. I chuckled. I know what she was trying to say; she always said it whenever I bring up ordering a pizza. She wanted one with pepperoni...her favorite.

I smiled, "I know, I know. Pepperoni, right?" She nodded and continued to put more chips into her mouth.

Twenty-five minutes later, I put down the bottle of soda that was now completely drained as the bell rang. I grunted when I pulled myself up off the couch. Now that I noticed, I've been sitting in the same position for three hours. I grabbed the door knob, but didn't move. I was too lazy to talk or to meet new people. After a minute, I opened the door...

Familiar blue eyes were looking to me, with a sweet known smile of a someone I call a friend, the one who has taken a much part of thought in my mind. H-"Hayden?"

He smile grew wider, something that cheered me up all on itself. "Hi, Ruby." He looked amused. I wonder why. His face was even cuter than before, now that it is healed a bit. There were the faint hint of the stitches on his face, just scars, and his lip healed. I don't know about his arm because he was wearing a maroon polo shirt, with a navy blue jacket on.

He took out something from his bag, and held it in between us. I looked from him to whatever he was holding up. Three hot boxes. Hm...smells so good. "Your pizza."

I smiled at him, "Still think delivering pizza is bad?" he rolled his eyes.

"Actually, not anymore. Not until now, at least." I shook my head with a smile, and took the pizza from him.

"Please, do come in." I said before I went inside and opened the door wider. I could hear his footsteps close behind me.

"Finally, some food in here. Dude, I was going to die! What took you s-" Whisper loudly broke the silence. She stopped as she saw I had company. She looked at me, then Hayden, then me, then Hayden, then the three boxes in my hands. She huffed and walked towards me, and opened the top box, "nope." she closed it and opened the one in the middle; still resting her other hand on the top box so it wouldn't fall."yup." She pulled the box, and walked to the couch and took a rather huge bite.

"Wow, you two sure are hungry." Hayden said. I chuckled and looked at him over my shoulder. He looked so amused, watching Whisper devouring the slice in hand.

I scoffed, "She just finished three huge bags of chips, and about twelve bottles of soda. She's a monster. You should see her when she's eating ice cream. Now that's a scary scene." He laughed.
