*Lynn's P.O.V.*
Waking up in someone's arms is probably the best feeling in the world. Especially when it's the person you have a crush on, but you're not gay. And you just broke up with your boyfriend; ex-boyfriend.
I try and go back to sleep, so I face Camryn trying not to wake her. I slightly turn making Camryn wake up. Her eyes flutter open and I can see her beautiful blue eyes stare back at me.
Not realizing what time it was, her and I both start to drift off back to sleep, until an alarm goes off.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuck." I say lightly.
Camryn faces me again and I look directly in her eyes and smile. We stay like that for a few moments, until she realizes her arms are still wrapped around me. She shoots up from the bed and says, "Uh. Sorry about that." Avoiding all eye contact with me.
"Cams it's fine. What isn't fine is that we have to go to school." I said rolling my eyes.
*Camryn's P.O.V.*
Lynn gave me some other clothes to wear and we both head out the door to catch a ride with Jenna and Tay.
From then on, almost every single day for about 3 months, was the same. Jenna, Tay, Lynn and I would all hang out. I'd go to Lynn's house afterwards and eventually go home around 10. Everything was they way I had wanted it to be. For once I felt at home and with people that actually cared. It was amazing, the only downside is that I had still had feelings for Lynn.
I hated the fact that I had feelings for her. We had both agreed to never speak of the first day her and I met, but I wanted to go back so bad.
The thing that I hated the most, is that she could lure me back in so quickly. One minute I can convince myself that we're just friends, next minute she looks at me, and I completely lose my train of thought and my heart goes crazy.
And what's worse is to see her so sad about her and Jake.
Everytime she sees him, her smile disappears and her mood changes immediately. Especially since he started getting close to this girl named Anna. I'll admit Anna was pretty hot, but she's nothing in comparison to Lynn.
"Camryn?"
Great, I was probably daydreaming again.
"Yeah?" I said bringing my attention to Jenna.
"I'm sure you've realized what the fuck is going on with Lynn. Because I need you to talk to her about Jake. I can tell something's seriously wrong with her."
"Uh, me?" I asked.
"Well, who else am I talking to?" Jenna said sarcastically.
I gave her a dirty look and rolled my eyes.
"What I meant was, why me? I mean, like why can't you or Tay do it? You guys have known her longer."
"Camryn, it doesn't matter how long you've known someone. I mean look how close you and Lynn got within what? Like 3 months now?"
"Just about." I quickly added.
"Exactly. And I already know Lynn will tell you anything. Which by the way, fuck you for replacing me, but thank you because we all love you Camryn." She said nudging me with her shoulder.
"Love you too Jenna, love you too." I said looking at the floor.
"I'll talk to her at lunch. You and Tay go ahead, we'll catch up later."
One hour later..
5th period had just started and this is the class Lynn and I had together, only problem is she sat far away, across from me.
Our routine for this class was to pass notes the whole time and occasionally glance at each other when something is funny, but today just wasn't the same.
I usually get there before Lynn, which is what happened today, but also she usually runs up to me and we give each other a hug. Today, she just saw me looked at me and sat down. I thought about going over there and asking her about her and Jake, but I knew now wasn't the best time.
Instead, I did what I do best. I'd occasionally smile at her and make her laugh. It doesn't matter whether I'm with Lynn or not. All I care is thst she's smiling and happy, and if I can make her feel like that, it's 100% worth it.
Lynn's mood seemed to change a bit until lunch came. Once lunch came she immediately left without saying to anyone. I scrambled to find Jenna and Tay, since I was obviously freaking way too much to forget I had a phone on me.
"Tay, Jenna! She's gone."
