Emma watched Killian carry in the last of the boxes. He insisted that she didn't help. She slid things in with her feet when he wasn't looking. Robin and Victor would be over with the moving truck to help carry in the furniture the next morning. Once Killian set the box down, he straightened his shirt and went over to Emma who was leaning against the wall in the hallway.
"I could have helped you know." Emma said fiddling with the bracelet on her wrist.
"I know, but I wanted to bring you in the house." He said with a smirk.
"What? I-" She started, but he picked her up bridal style.
"Welcome home!" Killian said with a laugh.
"Killian, this happens when a couple gets married. Not when you move into a new apartment for college."
Killian kissed Emma's arm. "I don't care. We will be married one day, won't we?"
Emma shrugged. "I hope so. I love you, but there is a chance that our flame could go out, you know?"
Killian set her down on the ground and looked into her emerald orbs. "I'll pour gasoline over the flame if it means keeping you by my side."
Emma hugged him. "I'm not going to give up that easily either." She pulled away and looked around. "Where are we going to sleep?"
"I think there is an air mattress the trunk of my car."
"Why do you, you know what? I'm not going to ask."
He laughed and ran back down to his car. Emma placed the box that was labeled 'KITCHEN' onto the counter and began filling the cabinets. A knock came from the door way, and Emma turned her head. A girl with brunette hair was standing there. She looked about the same age as Emma. Emma nodded her head in such a way to say, 'come in.'
"Hi! My name is Aurora. I live next door to you. I saw you moving in, and well I wanted to meet you!" She said excitedly.
Emma laughed. "That's fine. I'm Emma." She stuck her hand out, and Aurora shook it. At that moment, Killian walked in. "Oh, Aurora, this is my boyfriend Killian."
She shook his hand as well. "It was nice meeting you both. Say, do you go to the university down the road?" Aurora asked.
"Yep, well once the school year begins." Killian said.
Aurora nodded. "It's my first year too. My boyfriend Phillip will be with me too. Maybe you could meet him sometime, after you get settled of course." She made her way to the door. "If there is ever anything you need, don't hesitate to ask."
Emma and Killian nodded before Aurora shut the door. Emma went back to unpacking the boxes and Killian opened the air mattress bag.
"She seems nice love." Killian said.
Emma nodded. "She does."
After pounding nails into the walls, stocking up the kitchen cabinets and cupboards, and filling the bathroom up with towels and soaps, Emma and Killian fell onto the air mattress that was set up in their bedroom. She was laying there with her head on the pillows that she brought, staring at Killian, who was playing a game or looking at social media on his phone.
"Killian." Emma whined. "I'm hungry."
He pressed the home button and turned around. "And what would you like my love?"
"I don't know. Nothing specific really."
"How about, I order a pizza, then you go start a bath. Once it comes, I'll come in and join you."
Emma rolled her eyes. "Then the water will be cold."
A smirk formed on his lips. "I know what we can do while we wait for that pizza."
She playfully hit his arm. "If you aren't calling, then I will."
He winked at her, got up, and called the Pizza Hut that was down the road. He ordered a large stuffed crust, pepperoni pizza. After he hung up, he looked out at the dark street. The city lights, and hustling and bustling of the cars weren't a new sound to him. After a half hour, the pizza finally arrived. He paid, then took it into the bathroom. He saw candles lit, and a tub full of bubbles.
"Would you like some pizza hungry?" Killian asked.
Emma sat up. Bubbles were covering every part of her body, except her face and head. She dried her hands off then stuck one out to him. He carefully put a slice in her hand, then began undressing himself. She moved her legs and he sat down with his phone in one hand, and a slice of pizza in the other. Emma laid back enjoying the heat of the water, and the taste of cheese, dough, sauce, and pepperoni linger on her lips and in her mouth. She opened one eye, and saw Killian staring at his phone, but it was pointed at her.
"You better not be filming me!" Emma yelled trying to cover herself up.
"No one is going to see it Swan, but me." The smirk became bigger.
"I'd get up, but then you would have a perfect view of me." Emma said.
Killian put his phone down, then climbed over to her. He laid his body on top of hers. "I love you. You know that right?"
"Of course I know that." She said running her fingers on the side of his head. "I just don't know why."
"What do you mean? I love you because of who you are! You are perfect in every way."
She shook her head. "No I'm not. I've been kidnapped, sexually assaulted, bullied, I still don't understand why you love me. All I know, is that I'm just glad you do. I've been trapped in the dark since what happened with Neal, until you came along."
"Hey, you may think that you aren't beautiful or special or perfect, but you are." He moved up closer to her ear. "And mine." He started kissing her neck and she tilted it, giving him better access.
"I'm yours." Emma said.
