Nope!

Are you wishing that I would get on with the story?

Yep!

------------------
The final bell of the day rang, and Emma went straight to The Crystal Circle. As she walked in, the little bell rang indicated that a person had walked in. Emma watched Zelena walk out from a room behind the dining room.

"You're late." She said sternly. Zelena's hands were on her hips.

Emma put her hands on her knees trying to catch her breath. "At least I got here before opening. I ran here as fast as I could. Killian drove me to school."

"Alright Emma. I understand. You're right, at least you did get her before opening. Just set up the dining room, okay?" The question was more like a command.

Emma nodded and went over to a rack that had an apron on it. She tied it around her waist and began unstacking the chairs from the tables. As the clock ticked 3:00, more waitresses came out into the dining room. One opened the door and another flipped a sign.

'Yes, we're open!'

Five minutes after opening, the restaurant started filling up. Emma had a long day of waiting tables. She would switch between serving people at the bar and waiting the tables personally. Many rude and nice customers came by. 5:00 ticked and Killian still hadn't shown up.

"I'll pop in after school my ass." Emma mumbled scooting the dirty dishes into a bin. She wheeled it off into the kitchen and came out to serve the next customer. She showed him to a cleaned table. Emma found it weird that he was wearing dark sunglasses and a hat that covered his head. His jacket was raised over his face.

"What can I get you sir?" Emma asked flipping to a clean page in her order book.

"Two grilled cheeses with onion rings. Along with a beer and a hot chocolate with cinnamon." He said quietly.

Being as busy as she was, Emma scribbled the order down and shoved it into the open window to the kitchen.

"Emma dear after you serve this man his food you may take a break." Zelena said pointing to the man with the sunglasses.

"Thanks Zelena." Emma said. She took a few more orders and then finally his food was done.

She picked up the two plates and the two mugs and sat them down in front of him. "There you are sir. Two grilled cheeses each with onion rings. A beer and a hot chocolate with cinnamon." She went to walk away but he grabbed her wrist.

"Sit down Emma." He said.

Not wanting to raise alarm, Emma sat down. The food in front of her made her mouth water. It was all her favorites.

"Why don't you eat love?"

"Eat the thing the crazy stranger guy just told me to? I don't think so."

He took off his hat and sunglasses then took the jacket off. Emma squinted her eyes at her boyfriend who sat in front of her.

"Am I really a crazy stranger love?" He asked tilting his head.

"That wasn't funny." Emma said hitting the side of his head.

"Oh yes it was."

Emma rolled her eyes and took an onion ring. Killian raised his beer up to his lips and took a sip.

"I only have a half hour for my break." Emma said munching down on her food.

"I figured. I can just keep coming back in disguises and they won't know that I keep coming back." He said.

"No I wouldn't want you to do that."

"I miss you." Killian said sticking his lower lip out.

Emma reached her hand over and squeezed his fist. "It's only 6:30. I'll be home soon."

"Yes and I have a surprise for you when you do come home." He said with a smirk.

Emma finished her food and so did he. She didn't want to get back to work and leave Killian, but if they wanted to pay the bills, someone had to work. Emma stood up and reached for the plates when he stopped her once more.

"I'm not going to give you a tip, because you'll get one tonight." He whispered with another smirk.

Emma smiled. "Go home. I'll be back soon."

"Before I do go, I wanted to tell you that my mom called today. She said that she is giving us Liam's college fund that she was keeping in the bank. It was about $30,000."

Emma's jaw dropped. "Woah. Wow. T-that's a lot of money."

Killian laughed. "I know. She told me how to access the account and I went and picked it up today. That's why it was so late when I came."

Emma hugged him. "Thank you."

"You're welcome love. Now get back to work!"

Emma rolled her eyes. "Yea yea." She grabbed the plates and mugs and threw them in a bin before serving the next table. How did Killian manage to score $30,000? She shrugged it off and worked for the rest of her shift. Cleaning up and counting the money, Emma was finally able to go home. She jumped in her car that Killian was nice enough to bring to the restaurant so she could drive home. Pulling her phone from her pocket, Emma called Killian.

"Yes Swan?" He asked as he picked it up.

"On my way home now." She sighed.

"Good. I'll be in the living room when you come home."

"Okay."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Emma hung up and drove home to her apartment. She walked into the elevator when her phone buzzed.

'Sorry I didn't come to see you at work today babe. I promise I'll be there tomorrow.'

She took a deep breath. If Neal went out into the open, someone, meaning her, would call the cops. Plus he wouldn't try anything with people around.

The elevator doors opened with a ding. Emma jumped out and went over to her apartment door. She unlocked the door and gasped.

Sorry for no updates. Last night. Last night was, wow. I'm dead. Does someone want to bring me back from the Underworld? Cause I'm dead. I really am.

When the title is called "Broken Heart" it means Broken Hearts!!
