Robin, Ruby, Regina, and Victor came over the next day. They drove with a moving van, bringing all of Emma and Killian's furniture.
"This is everything from my parents' house. Do you think that we will have room?" Emma asked.
"Plenty. This is so much bigger than your apartment in Storybrooke." Killian said.
She nodded. The door swung open and Regina and Ruby ran in and tackled Emma with a hug. Victor and Robin walked in casually, but hugged Killian when he came into sight.
"Storybrooke is not the same without you Ems!" Ruby said.
"I bet. I missed you guys." Emma said.
"It's going to be so upsetting not going to college with you!" Ruby said.
Emma nodded. "Yea I know, but we will make it. We'll meet in the middle for holidays and breaks."
"Sounds like a plan." Regina said.
The girls were so caught up in their conversation, that they didn't notice that the guys were struggling to get the couch through the door.
"Hey, loves? Could we have some help?" Killian asked.
"Killian! We are not wimps. We can do this!" Robin said defensively.
Emma, Regina, and Ruby laughed. "Tilt it more to the left." Emma said.
The guys looked at each other, then did what she said, and the couch slid into the door with ease. They carried it in and set it down in front of a section of windows.
"There you go." Emma said.
The guys nodded their heads and went back down to the truck. They carried the rest of the furniture up, and set it where the girls instructed. After placing furniture, putting more things away, and endless time on the phone, Emma and Killian got their break.
"I didn't think that moving would be such of a big deal." Emma said collapsing on the couch.
"It was worth it. Getting rid of Milah, and getting away from the stress that Neal left. It's just us. You and me." Killian said. He leaned in and kissed Emma. She leaned back on the couch, and he kept up the attack on her lips.

Emma pulled away for air, and put their foreheads together. She was looking down, and so was he.
"I love you." She whispered.
"I love you too." He whispered back.
She stood up and made her way to the kitchen. She put a pot of water on the stove top and waited for it to boil. She stared at the water that wasn't moving.
"Ever heard that a watched pot never boils?" Killian asked wrapping his arms around Emma's waist.
"Of course I have. There is nothing to do until we get cable and wifi tomorrow."
He turned her around, and she saw the smirk on his face. "I have some things we could do."
She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm making soup first." She released him and poured the noodles into the pot.
"How long do you want to spend time in Storybrooke after college love?"
Emma shrugged her shoulders. "How long do you want to spend there?"
"I don't know. I guess it would depend on our money situation."
Emma nodded. "I guess you're right." She turned around again and turned the stove off. She got some soup and sat on the couch. He did the same.
"Do you want to watch Netflix?" Killian asked looking over at her.
"On what? We don't have wifi." Emma said blowing on her soup.
He pulled his phone out of his pocket. "With this."
She rolled her eyes. "Put on a movie."
Killian chuckled and put on The Lazarus Effect. After the movie, Emma went to bed, but he stayed up. He was making reservations at a fancy restaurant down the road. It was going to be the first quiet night, together. They weren't going to have to worry about Neal ruining their date, or even Milah. He made his way into the bedroom and thought he saw a flash of light in the street, but he was tired and dismissed it as headlights on a car. He wrapped his arms around Emma and held her close.
"I love you so much Swan. I will never hurt you, or leave you. I will never stop fighting for us. The truth is Emma, I was in the dark before I met you. My dad had just left me, my brother, and my mom. That's the whole reason we moved, but I'm glad we did. I'm glad that you turned my life around without knowing it." He kissed her cheek, then turned over and fell asleep. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off his chest.

The next morning, was a busy one, but it would be the last in the moving process. After finally finishing the move, Killian told her about the reservations at the restaurant.
"Emma, I made reservations at The Hiltop tonight."
"Isn't that super expensive?" Emma asked.
"Any amount of money is worth spending if it's on you." He got up before she could refuse. "Wear something nice."
She nodded and went back to her book, but then looked back up again. "What time?"
"7:30!" He yelled from the bedroom.
She nodded once more. It started to rain outside. She looked out and saw the same motorcycle that she had seen since moving in. 'It's probably just the neighbors.' She thought. Killian was probably in the bedroom getting ready for their date, so she left him to it. At 6:15, Emma went in to get dressed. She laid out a nice black and white dress. Her shoes were white flats. After applying makeup, it was time to go. She grabbed her clutch and met him in the living room. He was sitting on the couch bouncing his leg nervously. It was as if he was waiting for her on a first date. When he looked up and saw her, he jumped up and hugged her.
"You look stunning love." He said giving her a quick peck on the lips.
"You don't think it's too much?" She asked. She had asked herself that since she put it on.
"Never. Let's go."
She nodded and linked arms with him, then went to the restaurant.
