Shaking (Sarah Whitney x Will Target)

Chapter Six

During the search yesterday they didn't find her, but they couldn't give up hope on her either. Another day Will and Bailey was out searching for Scarlet, who they were quite worried about. "There she is!" Bailey exclaimed a bit to loudly, making Scarlet look up at them. It didn't take long before she galloped away from them as fast as she could. "After her Jimber" Will said, getting Jimber to go faster. Will watched Scarlet jump over a pretty tall fence to get away from them, but Aztec and Bailey made her stop. She stood still stomping her feet down against the ground. Will got a rope around her neck so they could lead her back. They led her back to the stable shocking the rest of the horses too. Scarlet didn't speak a word when they asked her questions about why she ran away.

Her head was pounding, but she decided to not tell anyone about that. Her sight wasn't much better either, dark spots danced in front of her eyes. She lied down in her stall, closing her eyes. 

Will and Bailey were chatting happily together when they walked into the stable. The girls had already went home except for the Stilton twins. "I'm just going to take a look at Scarlet" Will said, as the two of them went over to Scarlet's stall wondering why they did not see her. They looked over her stall shocked to find Scarlet lying on her stall ground. "CHLOE! ZOEY! Call the vet, it is important" Bailey called to the Stilton twins who called the vet immediately. 

Pepper looked over at Scarlet's stall worriedly as the vet arrived. As soon as the stall was open all the horses could see Scarlet lying on the ground. "Her pulse is really low, has she been eating properly? It seems like she might be in a really bad depression." Pepper watched Scarlet carefully. "Was really Scarlet that depressed due to Sarah's accident?" She thought. "Before Sarah got ill, she mentioned that Scarlet had been feeling a lot under the weather." Zoey told the vet, who just looked at Scarlet thoughtfully. "You need to keep a close eye on this horse, she might just respond to how her owner is feeling" The vet answered, telling Will and Bailey to look after Scarlet like she was their own horse.

The next day Will and Bailey arrived early to the stable taking a look at Scarlet who was still not moving. "I don't get it Bailey" Will spoke as they felt for Scarlet's pulse. The next couple of days went on the same way. That was until Catherine arrived at the stable. "I have talked to Sarah's parents and I am taking Scarlet with me to my ranch!" She spoke shocking everyone except Zoey. "I'll try to come over as much as I can" Zoey told Catherine. Molly and Alma arrived to see Catherine's trailer drive away. "What did we miss?" Molly asked Will. "Scarlet has been moved to another ranch" Bailey spoke for Will, who just looked at Scarlet's empty stall.
