Shaking (Sarah Whitney x Will Target)

Chapter 13

Will leaned against the fence to the pasture where all the horses were at the moment. He couldn't stop thinking about what Sarah had told him about her friend. Then there was Sarah, he knew that she would do everything she could do to help her friend. He was also excited for what the horse would be like and how it would cope after the loss of it best friend together with other horses. "I am sure the girl will be nice, although I know it is going to be a long way to go for her!" Bailey said as he patted Will's shoulder, knowing that his cousin was deep in thought. Bailey was this type of person who could be serious when he needed to be, but he could also be completely childish other times.  "I just hope that we can help her, I mean she has been through a lot. I am excited to see her horse though!" Will replied as he gave a weak smile to his younger cousin.

While Will and Bailey talked out about Will concerns a black car with a horsetrailer pulled up to the ranch. "Sarah! She is here!" Bailey called as he watche Sarah come out from the stable. The girls had been mucking out of their horses stables and Sarah had also done her friends stall ready. Standing excitedly by the fence now next to Will and Bailey Sarah was almost tripping off excitement. Will watch as a rather tall girl stepped out of the car. Her light golden brown hair was done in two french braids. She was wearing black boots, white pants and a auburn riding jacket. She walked over to her horse trailer and out came her Friesian. Her Friesian was pure black, but its mane and tail was black with auburn stripes. Taking the reins, the new girl headed over to Sarah.

"Hello I am Will, this is my cousin Bailey and I am sure you remember Sarah!" Will introduced them giving the girl a light hug. Bailey followed his lead as the girls gave each other a rather long hug. "Thank for letting me stay here. I am sure Karisha and I will like it around here. Oh, silly me. I am Jade!" Sarah's friend Jade replied as she let go off Sarah. "We were thinking about doing some training tomorrow, you are free to watch if you want" Bailey said thoughtfully. "I would love to do that, but I haven't been on top of my horse since after the accident properly. We have been on trail riders and all off that, but I not sure if I am ready for show jumping again". Jade answered truthfully. "Oh, don't worry. Sarah and I will help you with that!" Will said as they walked inside the barn to let Jade hang up Karisha's tack some where. "This will be your stall, right next to Calypso. Do you want to let Karisha out on the pasture along with the other horses?" Sarah asked Jade. "Yeah, I am sure that would be nice!" Jade said as she led Karisha outside again.

Chili watched closely as the new horse was let out on the pasture. She was a stunning black Friesian mare. Her mane and tail looked smooth like silk and her coat was perfect. He had thought that Poppy had been beautiful, but he felt honestly more attracted to this horse. She was honestly the most beautiful horse he had ever seen. Seeing Scarlet run over to the mare, he could tell they knew each other well. First when Scarlet stood closer to the mare, he could tell that there were a height difference. He knew the breed was taller than normal horses, but he didn't think he would be able to tell them apart that much.

Deciding to head over to the new mare along with Pepper, Jimber and Aztec he had time to take a closer look at her. She had this beautiful catchlight in her auburn eyes. "Hello, nice to meet you. I am Jimber, this is Aztec, Pepper and Chili!" Jimber introduced them to the new mare, who neighed in return. "Pleasure is on my side. I am Karisha!" She said happily. "May we ask why you are here. We are just curious, it's not often we get a new horse here!" Aztec said carefully, making sure the mare was alright with him asking. "Yeah, I guess it would be better if you knew about it. It was about spring time last year that my owner Jade was out riding on her other horse named Diego. Diego was a black Mustang with four white socks. He was my best friend and we made it to the Olympics together. Anyway they were out there with two other riders and their horses too. It was quite slipperly outside, when suddenly Diego got stuck with his hooves in the mud and being unable to move. The other horses were also stuck in some wire fences that were around the area. Somehow they got out of the forest, but Diego was limping and Jade was holding his reins to help him. They had already called for help, but was told to get to the closest road. When they were crossing the road a truck came in high speed and was unable to stop the truck. The other riders died on the impact and their horses. The only reason that Jade made it, was because Diego reared up against the truck to save her life. That was what Jade's statement was!" Karisha said sadly as she thought back to Diego. "Oh, I am sorry!" Chili said, not knowing how to reply to such a story.

**At Mrs and Mr Handler's house**

Jade was happy that Sarah was also staying at the house, while she stayed at Horseland. It was honestly a bit weird to see how welcoming everyone had been with her. Right now they were sitting in Will's room since he had the biggest. The girls were sitting next to each other with Will and Bailey on their other side. Jade noticed how close Sarah and Will were sitting, she also noticed how Sarah looked at Will. Leaning a bit closer to Bailey herself, because she could see him looking at Will and Sarah with a knowing look.

Jade had been informed about which rider had which horse. She could say she remembered all the names, thanks to Bailey. He had been really sweet with her and helped her take Karisha back to her stall when it was time for dinner. "Thanks for today" Jade whispered as she looked up at Bailey. "No problem, maybe we could go out on a picnic tomorrow. What do you say Will?" Bailey asked, catching Will's attention. "Yeah, that would be nice. We could do it after practice, that way the horses get to rest during the trip too!" He replied to his cousin. "Then it is settled then!" Sarah said loudly and happy.

Alright so that was the new update. I am hoping that you are still enjoying the stories. I know that normally Chili, Pepper, Zoey and Chloe have an attitude, but to this story they are a few years older and has learned a bit. Updated 31st of January 2018! Thank you all for reading.
