Sarah and Jade were in each of their stalls taking care of their horses. Sarah had did stupid grin on her face, and she was much happier than normally. She didn't lose her smile at the sight of Bailey and Will entering the ball. Making Jade give Sarah a knowing smile.
"Oh, I see. You made up". Jade whispered, making Sarah blush.
"Ugh yeah, we decided to give it a go". Sarah admitted.
"I am happy for you. I actually have new too".
"What is it?"
"I have decided to try jumping again. I think it would do me good, and I think Karisha would enjoy it too. Could you help me with my training?"
"Of course, I am so excited for you". Sarah spoke, happily. She couldn't stop grinning and made her way over to Will. "Hi". She pressed a soft kiss to Will's cheek.
"WHAT? WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?" Bailey yelled, confused.
"Not so long ago". Jade added, before Will could reply.
Bailey looked conflicted, he had no idea what he should do or say. Had Will meant to keep it a secret from him, or did anyone even know about it. He took a conclusion based on Jade's facial expression. It had to be fresh, Jade knew everything. Before he could ask both Sarah and Jade had saddled up their horses and led them outside. Of course Will was nowhere to be seen either.
Chloe and Zoey were practicing jumping obstacles on the training field. Bailey watched how Sarah and Jade led their horses inside, surely about to get some jumping done.
"Chloe do you mind if we watch you for awhile?" Sarah asked with a smile on her face.
Chloe only smiled in reply and did her jumping perfectly along with her sister. They wasted no time and showed off a couple of rounds. They continued until Will arrived along with the other riders at Horseland.
"Are you sure you want to try? You don't have to". Zoey whispered, after getting down from her mare. She gave Jade a worried, but comforting look. None of them wanted her to pressure her into doing something she didn't want to. Or having her think she had to do it.
"I want to give it a try". Jade said, confidently. She led her horse into the paddock, and looked around to make sure everything was alright.
Bailey and Will even offered to look over everything to make sure the obstacles would be at the right height for her mare. None of them wanted Jade to get hurt again, or to scare them away from jumping.
"We can do it". Jade said and got up on her horse. She made her mare take a round around the paddock, before trying any of the obstacles. She moved toward the first obstacle and aced it. She landed perfectly before she trotted towards the next one. Obviously she had nothing to be afraid of and aced everything with milimeters perfection.
Everyone were left gasping in shock, trying to dwell on the new information. They had a champion among them that just out mastered them all. Not even Will was that good. Which said a lot.
"Jade that was awsome, I didn't know you were that good". Zoey praised.
"It felt good, just like with Diego". Jade replied, smiling sadly. A tears were starting to gather in her eyes and she tried to wipe them away before anyone noticed. She looked down at her phone, which vibrated. She had thankfully not any sound on.
'I am so happy you tried jumping again. Your mother and I are picking you up tomorrow. You will get to say good bye to your friends. We think it would be the right time to get you back into contests. Love you, dad'.
Jade read the text over and over again, frowning. "Did she have to leave so soon?". She didn't feel like she had been at the ranch that long. She tried to think of a way to break it to Sarah. Although it didn't take long for Sarah to notice something was off.
"What's wrong?" Sarah asked. She walked over to her friend, who seemed sad. She was handed Jade's phone, and she stared down at the text. Finally understanding what it was all about. Jade was leaving. Sarah knew it would happen sooner or later, Jade needed to get back to how her life used to be. She couldn't stay at Horseland forever, even though she wanted to.
"It will be alright. We can still call each other and send letters aswell. It's not like the end of the world". Sarah spoke up, trying to comfort her friend.
"I guess you are right, I will just be so weird". Jade declared.
