Chapter Fifteen

"Arrow, why don't we leave my friends and settle our differences." Rain spat.

"You winning against me last year was purely coincidental," tumawa si Arrow. "Pinagbigyan lang kita dahil yun ang utos ni Ash. Wag kang saktan." Ngumisi si Arrow. He flicked. The arrow zoomed past her pero nakaiwas si Rain.

Another flicked. Another missed.

"You really have good reflexes aren't you??"si Arrow.

Umangat sila sa stage. Arrow had unleashed his wings. It was grayish black. They circled each other like one circling a prey.

"The next flick will hit your bracelet baby."

"Huh??!" Napalingon si Rain sa kamay niya at maya maya pa ay naputol ang bracelet niya at unti unting nahulogsa stage. Oh no! Ang bracelet na bigay ni Blue. Rain raced for the bracelet bago pa ito mahulog,. Too late. She had been tricked. Arrow flicked his hands faster now ang arrows were raining everywhere. It hit her on her shoulders. Then on her arms, then on her wings and that's when she knew Arrow had beaten her, she was falling.

Then she heard him. His strained voice. Blue. She had forgotten about him sa asar niya kay Arrow at kung pano nito tinrato na parang mga insekto ang kaibigan niya. Don't come here Blue, it's not safe. Si Arrow di ka din sasantuhin.

Blue saw Rain when she left him to go to the arena stage. Namutla si Blue ng makita ang ilang sibat na tumama kay Rain. Then he shouted, he had stood up, then he was running for the stage. Hoping he will be there in time to catch her fall. He jumped ng marating niya ang edge. And he waited for his feet to touch the arena's stone floorings. Arrow flicked his arrow targeting Blue this time. He easily captured his arrow using only his left hand habang hawak hawak sa bewang si Rain. He crushed his arrows and it turned to dust. Nang makababa na si Blue ay sinipat niya ang mga kaibigan ni Rain. They are allright. Then he peered at Rain. She smiled weakly and leaned on him.

Nagpalakpakan ang mga nanonood na parang may magandang palabas na natapos.

Mabuway na kumalas si Rain sa pagkakahawak kay Blue. Blue had his bare chest and his wings were gleaming.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Rain.

"Prince." Then she went down and bowed low.

"Who are you calling prince this time??!" he demanded. Hinigit niya si Rain para tumayo. Alanganin siyang tingnan ni Rain.

"Blue. Can't you see?? You have golden wings. You are the lost prince!!" Then she swayed, but he catched her.
