    Sonic was starting to panic now. He didn't know what to do! What should he tell Tails. Sonic could see jealously in Shadow's eyes, he saw fire. " Hey Shadow.... This is my little brother Tails..." Shadow's jealously was completely gone. He slowly started to smile awkwardly. " Hi, I'm... Tails..." he said shyly, rubbing the back of head. Shadow waved his hand silently saying hello to the young the fox. 

  

  "Sonic, can I talk to you, privately please..." Shadow whispered quietly in Sonic's ear. "Um... sure Shadow." Sonic said, while getting up, and following shadow outside the saloons front door. Sonic was wondering what shadow had to talk to about. Shadow took Sonic to the men's room.

  "Shadow don't you think this is a little weird being in here... just you, and me in the men's room alone..." Sonic said nervously, with his back against the wall. "Sonic just so you know when I saw you, and tails for the first time, laughing with each other. When I saw that, I got jealous..." Shadow said, looking down at the floor ashamed of what thought. Sonic looked at Shadow, and used his right hand to bring Shadow's head up... Sonic Had leaned in, and kissed Shadow on the lips. "So I was right... you are the jealous type." Sonic spoke to Shadow, in a soft sweet tone. 

   Shadow was astonished! He didn't know what think.

   Just out side the bathroom, towards the front door of the saloon stood Scourge. Sonic, and Shadow were unaware of him inside the bathroom. "Alright listen up!" Scourge yelled, everyone looked at the green hedgehog. "Ya'll know i'm looking for Sonic right? Well looks like a little birdy told me that Sonic rode to this here saloon! Well come on out Sonic! I know your here! Scourge yelled out to everyone, mostly Sonic. 

  Sonic, and Shadow had heard Scourge's call for Sonic. Sonic looked at Shadow with a scared look. "Stay here... " Shadow whispered, while holding Sonic's shoulders. Sonic stayed in the bathroom while Shadow walked out. He tipped his hat so that it would cover his face. Shadow Stayed near the wall hoping to stay in the darkness. Scourge from the corner of his eye, saw Shadow trying to leave. "Well, well, Shadow the hedgehog... What are you doing here, are you trying to hide something... or Someone?" Scourge asked suspiciously, walking toward Shadow. 

  Shadow looked up when his named was called, when he looked up he saw Scourge walking toward him. A glare started to appear along Shadow's eye's. Scourge smirked darkly, he knew that Shadow was hiding something. Shadow started to pull out pistol, that was hidden in the back of his ridding jeans. "I have nothing to hide, Scourge. Now I ask you to leave me alone..." Shadow growled, giving Scourge a death glare. Shadow's eyes glowed in the darkness, giving him a deadly look. Shadow had since put his pistol back in his back pocket. "I'll take my leave." Shadow said, as he walked out, but Scourge put his right hand out and stoped Shadow from getting past him. 

  " Your not going anywhere. I know that Sonic is here and that you've been hiding him at your ranch... now... tell me ... where... is.. he..." 

 Sonic peeked through the bathroom door, and saw that Scourge had a gun to Shadow's head. Sonic gasped at the situation. Sonic had to do something , so he did the only thing he could do, step out that door and give himself to Scourge... no matter how much it hurt his heart....

  "Scourge!" 

Scourge turned and looked back and saw Sonic, he smiked evily.
