"So... you finally show yourself to me Sonic? Why? I thought you would be hiding in someone's house or ranch," Scourge said, while slowly walking to Sonic. Shadow tried to get in front of Sonic, he gave Shadow a glare to stay away. "Well I was at first with Shadow... then after a few days we... well... fell in love." Sonic said nervously. "Hahaha!" Scourge laughed darkly. "I should of known that you would fallen for the first guy you saw..." He said blankly. Scourge started to walk up to Sonic, Shadow just stood there getting his pistol ready to shoot, he made dure it was kept hidden...

Sonic was starting to get nervous, he could start to feel his own body tence up. Scourge finally backed Sonic up against cold wooden wall. Sonic was really nervous now. Shadow's body started to tence up as well, he saw how Sonic was scared of Scourge... he had to come up with a plan to get Sonic out of there... but how! Then he thought of something. The one thing that men can't resist....

"Hey! Everyone! Free beer for everyone!" Shadow yelled. He grabbed Sonic's arm, and pulled him out of the saloon, and put Sonic on his horse, and he got on his horse. They rode back to Shadow's ranch, once they got to main building of Shadow's ranch, they went inside. Shadow got a large bag and placed it on his bed, and started packing some clothes for about three days... Shadow saw Sonic in his bedroom doorway. Sonic had this sorrow in his eyes Shadow could tell, he always could tell... "Sonic, start packing please... we'll leave for three days till things here die down a little..." Shadow said, as he walked up to the blue hedgehog. "Well... MAYBE I DON'T WANT LEAVE!" Sonic covered his mouth in shock. Shadow's eyes widened in amazment, he couldn't believe that the Sonic the Hedgehog yelled in anger!

Sonic dropped his hands to his sides, and sighed in slight frustration. "Sonikku?" Shadow used his left hand to pull Sonic's head up, to make him look at him in the eyes. "Shadow I'm tired of running from Scourge and his 'friends', I want to face him... And maybe if I do he'll leave me alone. For good," Shadow didn't like where this was going he didn't want Sonic to face Scougre alone he wanted him safe. Away from harm. Sonic meant everything to him, he was and still is his world.

"Sonikku, I don't want you face Scourge 'cause if you do... he'll rape you, or even something worse than that..." Shadow said, trying to convince his love to change his mind. "No, Shadow I'm tried of running form him, I'm tired of hidding behind other people and looking up to them for protection..."Sonic told Shadow, swipping his hand away from his chin." I need to start standing up for myself!" he yelled as he ran out of the ranch house. He hopped on Bella yelled "Ya" to the horse to make her run at an full gallop.

"Sonic, yo- " He yelled as ran out of the door. But he was to late... he could see hoove prints in the powder-like dirt. He saw that Sonic had already taken off on Bella. "Damn it! He's gone! Bello!" Shadow yelled, while his horse come up in front of him.

Shadow mounted up and rode off after Sonic. All he hoped now was that Sonic would be safe from Scourge.
