Evan let out a tired sigh, with one hand holding his costume bag and the other putting away his now dead cellphone he walked on. The sidewalks were covered in a mixture of colorful fallen leafs, making it like a mismatch sheet over the usually hard gray sidewalk that soon made a crushing sound when you stepped on a pile of leafs. He passed by a couple of Halloween decorations; just the usual fake spider webs and animatronics that moved and voiced out threats for the trick or treaters.

The autumn air picked up swirling around him and ruffling up his spikey hair; the skeletons hanging beside him started to chatter. Evan loves this holiday; everything he adores was all mixed into one day. Horror, costumes, late night monster movie marathons, heck he even enjoys going around town with Lui pretending to be kids so they could get free candy.

Just this year, he wouldn't be spending it with his best friend.

The male let out another sigh resting his body against one of the decorative store windows. Tyler offered to drive him home earlier but Evan refused, he wanted to walk alone this evening, think over what his brain had conjured up about his broken heart...His mind seemed to gone to the dark side.

Now he wished he had taken the offer when it was present.

He ran his digits through his bangs, making them stand back up. Looking up at the darkening sky Evan asked himself sadly, Delirious, don't you miss me?

He shook his head growling under his breath, "No, he's with Luke, he doesn't need me with him anymore." He bit out, making himself more depressed. He was hurting. Evan tsked pushing himself off the wall and continued on. "Stupid, I can have fun without him. Luke can have him." He was lying to himself but his heart knew the truth and each time he denied that he needed him the reality was he missed him like crazy.

The roads were partly deserted expect for a few cars driving by; Evan didn't take mind to them until one pulled up next to him. He blinked staring at the red sports car.

Once the window rolled down on the passenger side music started to leak out and following the stream of techno was a familiar head popping out with a smile to match the happy tone, "Hey Evan want a lift?"

Evan smiled, "Yeah man!" He heard the door unlock and Evan hopped right in. Once the door shut close the car roared back to life speeding down the empty highway.

"Thanks Moo, you're a life saver." Evan chimed feeling his body warm up with the air conditioning as he bucked himself in. The heat was giving him goosebumps.

Brock smiled, his eyes still on the road as he replied, "Anytime, Evan. Oh hey did you hear about the party tonight?"

Evan nodded even though Brock couldn't see it, "Yeah, I'm basically getting kidnapped to go."

Brock chuckled under his breath, "I'm just going to take a guess here and say Lui?"

"And Miniladd...I guess Brian, too but not too sure if he's the type to drag me out of my house like those two would."

"Yeah, Lui's known to do that." After making a left turn down a new street Brock smiled, "Hey, you remember last year when he handcuffed Nogla and himself together just so he would go on that damn ride with him."
