The Kiss - Zero x Reader {Vampire Knight}

I screamed in pain as a level E bit my arm.

I came outside to look for Zero. Telling him I'm leaving for a year. Zero and me are best friends and I've had a crush on him so I couldn't leave without a good bye.

"Zero!" I screamed in pain as the level E was ripped away from me.

"(Name)!" I looked up to e met with white hair and purple eyes. It was Zero.

"(Name). Stay awake."

I tried. I did, but sleep was over coming me.

"Z-Zero... I was...coming to say bye... I'm supposed to be leaving for a year." My eyes were closing as spots clouded my vision.

"(Name), you'll be fine. You can sleep now."

-Next Morning-

I woke up and saw I was on my bed and my arm was wrapped in bandages.

Zero sat next to my bed with him head on his arms, resting on the side of the bed.

"Zero."

He looked up, blinking slowly and sat up. He saw me awake and said,"Don't ever do that again, (Name). Your flight leaves in an hour."

I sat up slowly and got out of bed, grabbing my suitcase and heading for the door. Right as I was about to leave I ran back and kissed Zero. Right on the lips.

As he was in shock I left saying,"Goodbye, Zero, I love you."

I got to the airport on time and headed home. Where I was to be staying for a year. I wonder what will happen when I come back.

-9 Months Later-

I walked to my dorm, seeing it all dusty I decided to clean.

I spent all this time with family I wonder if anything has changed.

I missed Zero.

But I was also afraid to see him after that kiss.

I walked around talking to people and seeing if anything has changed. Only a few things have. I walked to the pool where me and Zero used to hang out together. I stood there for a second, just relaxing.

"(Name)."

I turned at the familiar voice calling my name and saw Zero standing a few feet behind me. He looked the same if not a bit tired.

"Hey, Zero." I smiled at him, trying not to think of when I kissed him.

But what happen next I would never expect.

Zero walked up to me, held my face in his hands and kissed me. My eyes went wide and I froze. He pulled away and said,"(Name), I love you too. Don't leave like that again."

I smiled,"I won't, Zero."

I kissed him again and everything was perfect. Mostly because he kissed back. And we were together forever.
