Chapter 20: Finally..

Few hours later , the boys left leaving just Hyo, her mom and Chanyeol in the room.

 

"Hyo Jin ahh, you feel better now?" said Chanyeol as he gently carressed her hair.

"Uhm, oppa." She nodded her head in approval and smiled to him.

"Aigoo, you guys are so sweet..Stop it,  I'm feeling jealous right now" Mrs. Kim interrupted and jokingly said as her eyes were watching them.

"Don't look at us like that, mom. We're.. we're just friends." She replied and halted her look away from him to embarrasment.

"Silly girl.. I know exactly how you two feel, don't try to deny it. You two looked like a cute couple anyway." Mrs. Kim continued and smiled.

"B-but--"

 

"No but's , Chanyeol just tell me when you want to marry my daughter, hm? I totally approved of you." She added and patted his shoulders.. Chanyeol on the other hand brushed his nape to embarassment..

"Mom ! Stop it !" Hyo Jin reacted and pulled the blanket to cover her red face.

         Accidentally , Mrs. Kim whirled her head and found out that the time was already 5:00, she stood quickly and grab her bag on the bed and sprinted outside of the room. "I forgot, my co-workers and I have some appointment today. I need to leave , bye !" She yelled and panickedly exited the room.

"Be careful on your way, mom !" Chanyeol yelled back.

All of a sudden , Hyo Jin was startled and uncovered her face with the blanket once he heard him call her mom , his mom.

        "Wait, what did you just called my mom?" 

"Mom.. I.. I mean your mom." He replied shyly.

          "Oh.." 

"What do you want to do right now? Do you want to watch TV? Or just roam around here in the hospital?" He asked.

            "I don't think this is a good place for roaming.. What about.. Let's just sit here and think of the good times. You know share what we both are thinking.." She replied as she bend her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on it.

"That's a good idea too." He smiled and did what she did too.

           "Let's start !"

 

"So what are you thinking right now?" He asked first.

            "I'm thinking of how dumb am I to go to that place in the first place, and let you got hurt because of my carelessness." 

"You still thinking of that? It's not your fault, It clearly is not your fault. It;s my choice to save you,You know,  I got a lot of choice but I chose to risk my life just to save you. I did this not for you to feel bad about it, I did this because I wanted to.." He replied and let out a deep sigh.

               "But still--.."

 

"I don't want to talk about it anymore, let's just change our topic." Chanyeol said not even letting her finish what she was about to say.
