Chapter 12

-George's POV-

"Geooooorge" someone whispered in my ear 

"Mmmmhmmm" I groaned  

"Someone just called you on the phone" I opened my eyes, to see my mum standing over me trying to wake me up 

"Who?" I asked 

"Someone called Lil?"  

"Oh god mum what did you say?!" I asked, embarrassed about what my mum could have said to Lil 

"Nothing! Why are you so worried anyway?!" My mum smirked 

"No reason..." I said quickly. Too quickly 

"Ooooh..has Georgie got a little cru-ush?" My mum sang, taking the piss out of me 

"Go away mum, I'm ill..." I croaked, trying to sound convincing. I wasn't really ill anymore, I just wanted my mum to leave me alone! 

"Hmmm, you didn't seem ill a second ago when I mentioned Lil?" My mum teased 

"Go away..." I buried my face in the pillow, trying to hide the blush creeping onto my cheeks. 

"George, you know you ca-" 

"Can trust you with anything and always tell you my deepest secrets, especially when it comes to girls. Yes mum, I know." I groaned 

"Well then, tell me?" My mum pushed. She's lucky we're close, or I would've shouted at her by now... 

"Uhm..there's really nothing to tell mum.." I said, very unconvincingly  

"Hmm, well I'll let you off this time, but next time this Lil girl rings and you don't answer, I will be asking questions!" My mum warned me. Oh god. 

"Yeah okay mum, bye" I said, shutting the door after her.

-Lil's POV-

"Lil, over here!" I heard JJ shout from behind me. 

"Did you have a nice chat with your boyfriend?" Jess smirked  

"George is not my boyfriend" I blushed, facing the floor. 

"Suuuuure" Jess continued 

"Jess! He's not my boyfriend!" I protested 

"Okay okay! You wish he was though.." She smirked. God, she's lucky JJ's here to protect her, or I would've punched her by now. I didn't bother trying to deny it, because Jess just wouldn't believe me, and also, I'd be lying to myself. I have to admit, I do kinda wish George was my boyfriend, but he obviously doesn't feel the same way... 

"You don't know that!" Jaymi hugged me. What?! Oh shit. I just said that out loud again didn't I?! I blushed, hiding my head in his shoulder. 

"Awh, don't be embarrassed! If I was a girl, I'd fancy George for sure!" Josh spoke up, probably trying to make me feel better. It just made him look stupid to be honest. 

"Oh my god Josh, you idiot!" JJ laughed, smacking him round the head. 

"Guysssss...I wanna go hoooommmeeee!" Jaymi whined. 

"Awh, is ickle Jaymi tired?" I teased  

"Yes mummy" he replied, sucking on his thumb  

"Awh, well then, lets get ickle Jaymi home to beddy byes shall we?" I patting him on the head. 

"You guys are weeeird.." Josh said 

"Oh, and you can talk?!" I smirked 

"True..." Josh laughed
