"Hunter! Hunter! Over here!" the paparazzi seemed to yell continuously at the airport. I don't know why I thought it was okay for me to get picked up from the airport at the actual pick up area. I should have been picked up right after getting off my private plane... But no matter now, I'm back in Coronia, after a victory in Genovia. The king of Genovia had surrendered. I climbed into the comfort of my limo and sighed comfortably.

The ride from the airport to the castle was a long one, but relaxing. The high towers of the Coronian castle entered my vision, and hundreds of people were lined up along the sidewalks trying to get a glimpse of me. The golden gates of the castle swung open, and we drove a long way through the garden until we reached the fountain in front of the castle. I stepped out and was immediately greeted by my personal maids, Selena and Maria. "How was the flight, Hunter?" Selena asked.

"The flight itself was lovely. The paparazzi and newscasters at the airport were complete shit. Remind me to never agree to go through that again," I answered.

"Your mother is awaiting you," Maria reminded me. I nodded and entered the castle. I was met by the peach scent, most of the maids and butlers, the cooks, and everyone in between. There, standing in the middle of them all was my mother, Queen of Coronia.

"Mother, I've missed you," I said, swiftly walking to her to bring her to a warm embrace. If she hadn't pulled away, I might have even started crying.

"I've missed you too, Hunter. I've been worried sick, talking to all the workers and-" she stopped mid-sentence when she saw the workers nodding their heads. "Oh, nevermind that now! I assume you're tired, so you go upstairs and get your rest. Your sister is arriving tonight, so we shall eat dinner together." I nodded my head, and just like that, the workers dispersed, and my mother went on her way back to the garden.

I went up to my room where my huge Husky, Miller, was waiting. "Hey boy!" I cooed as he bounded up to me. "Did you miss daddy while he was away?" Miller barked in response. "Good. Well it's nap time!" I stripped down to my boxers and laid myself under my covers. Miller climbed in too, and the two of us fell asleep together.

"HUNTER! HAILEY'S ON HER WAY!" my mom's voice echoed through the speaker system. I groaned, and rolled over in bed. I reached over to my nightstand and pressed a button to respond,

     "Can I just wear sweats?"

"NO!" my mom practically yelled. "She's bringing a special guest."

     "Who?"

"I'm surprised you haven't heard... Even the workers have been talking about it."

"I've been home for less than 24 hours, and I've been sleeping, will you please explain to me."

"Just... get dressed. It will make sense soon."

I relunctantly let go of the button, and walked into my rather large closet. I decided that if this guest was so special, I should dress in something... decorated. I grabbed my army jacket that had all of my pins and medals of honor. I touched my chest to make sure my father's necklace was still there. When I got my hair situated, I went downstairs to the main entryway to await my sister. I stood between my mother, and Augustus, the head butler's son as well as Hailey's secret boyfriend. Although they've been dating for 4 years, I still say secret because nobody outside these palace walls knows. The princess of Coronia in a relationship with the help? No way that would pass. "Do you have any idea who this special guest is?" I whispered to Augustus. He looked at me with sad eyes and nodded slowly.

"You really need to start looking at the news, sir," he answered. Suddenly, there was a fanfare outside, and the large golden doors swung open. My 19-year-old sister, Hailey walked through smiling... with a man attached to her arm. I smiled at the sight of Hailey, but I kept my focus on the man she had with her. He was tall and slender, but he was decorated and in uniform...
