(A/N) Nolan Gerard Funk as Tony

*Tony's POV*

William James Prep, a high school filled with stuck up jocks, promiscuous school girls, and everyone in between. Dad had said the soccer team here would do my wolf some good. I guess he's right. The rest of my pack is on the team too. That could be why we're regional champions.

I guess I like it here in Colorado. There's a lot of land, good for hunting and clearing my mind. I've been needing to do that a lot lately since I'm next in line to be the Beta of my pack. My best friend James is the soon to be Alpha, so running the pack alongside him should make things easier. There's just one problem, I don't have a mate yet. And I can't take my position until I find her.

"Thinking about finding your mate again?" James asked as we walked up the stairs to our school.

"Yeah. I think today's the day man. I can feel it."

"You say that everyday, Tony. I doubt today is any different from yesterday, or the day before that, or the day before that..."

"Shut up. I don't say it that often."

"Yes you do. Right when we walk in, you have your eyes scanning each and every corner, hoping that when you lock eyes with some chick that you've never once talked to, she'll be your other half." We had stopped walking and were currently standing in front of the doors. James was complaining about my constant bugging with finding her. It's not my fault I'm eager to take my position and find someone to complete me.

I don't get why he wasn't concerned with finding his mate. I mean, he can't take the position until then either.

"Look, just trust me. I'm gonna find her today, James. And it'll be great."

"Whatever you say dude."

Then, the doors opened and it hit me. This strange yet intoxicating scent found its way to my nose and generously filled my lungs. It was a mixture of water lilies, strawberries, and something else that I couldn't put my finger on. Whatever it was, I liked it. A lot.

"Do you smell that?"

James gave me a flat look and an eye rolling.

"Yeah, it's called the bathroom."

"No, not that, the other smell. The one that smells like water lilies and strawberries."

"Water lilies? Dude, are you like high or something?"

"Seriously? Whatever. I'm going to class."

"Oookay then... weirdo."

The last part was muffled, but I still heard it. I walked into class, taking my seat at far back. It was right near the window and I got a view of the girls track team. They had the best bodies ever. Better than the cheerleaders. Their legs were perfectly toned, their hair always put up in a ponytail. And their uniforms were the best part. They exposed just the right amount of cleavage to be hella sexy, while still remaining school appropriate. I wonder if-

"Mr. Olmos, care to join us?"

"Huh?"

"Eyes on the board, Tony."

"Uh, yes Mr. Peterson. Sorry."

School was always a drag. The only things I really enjoyed were lunch, and soccer practice. I was standing in line, waiting to get my burger when the smell came again. Only this time, it was ten times stronger. It passed by me almost instantly and led out of the cafeteria. I contemplated getting out of line to go find the source, but I really wanted my burger.

In the end I decided to eat as fast as I could, not enjoying my delicious lunch to the fullest, and follow the trail of the heavenly scent. Whoever it was coming from really hauled ass out of here. They were all over the school.

Finally, I got to the front of the boys bathroom. Why would this delicious smell come in here? I mean, I couldn't be smelling a guy, could I? Slowly I pushed the door open and stepped in. The hand dryer was on, so I couldn't here any movements. Going in further, I was met with the sight of a short male, having trouble getting a stain off of his shirt. When he looked up, our eyes locked. And within an instant, my wolf shouted 'MATE'.

*Stephen's POV*

The name of my new school was William James Prep. God, even the name sounded arrogant. I didn't wanna move from my warm home in Phoenix, Arizona to this cold area of overgrown trees, also known as Colorado. But my Mom and Dad said this school was one of the best and staying here with my aunt will be a good environment for me. In my opinion, I know they shipped me here because Aunt Linda is only one who would be okay with me being gay. I don't care though. Who needs parents and sisters and friends... yeah... not me.

I've been at this school for about a week, and the only people to talk to me have been the principal and my teachers. The only good to come of that, is the fact that people don't know anything about me. Hopefully, it'll stay that way. It's a cloudy day and I'm here at school early. I still have a good half hour before my first class.

I take a seat next to door and pull out my phone. My wallpaper was the last picture I took with my best friends. We were all smiling but after seeing the picture they broke down. I tried to pull a happy face, but I pretty much failed epicly. I open a book and continue reading a story I started last night. It's about a guy who falls in love with a werewolf. Fat chance of that ever happening.

My eyes are trained on my screen until the doors swing open and two of the hottest guys I've ever seen, walk in. One has semi long dirty blonde hair with brownish eyes. He's slightly taller than the one next to him. The other has semi long dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Both are perfectly fit and nearly flawless if not... Talk about eye candy. While I'm checking them out from head to toe, one stops and inhales deeply as if smelling something really delicious. I could swear I heard a small moan escape his perfect lips. I wonder if he's ever let a guy kiss them.

Before I get the chance to catch his name and continue my game of watch the jock, the bell rings, and I head off to class. Hopefully, these next hours will pass by fast.

The curriculum in this school is entirely different from the one I had in Phoenix, so I ended up being ahead four and half credits. Basically, I could avoid school for a year and graduate like nothing. But no, I chose not to. Why? The hell should I know. So here I am, eating God knows what at a table by myself. Do I look like I have a disease or something?

Slowly, I take a couple of glances from behind my lashes and notice a few of the guys and girls from a table in front of me. All of them looking at me with curious eyes. Talk about being rude. I look away, and focus back on my so called food, only to find red droplets on my plate. What the hell?

Rubbing my nose, I look at my hand to find it stained with blood. Shit. I quickly stand and rush out of the cafeteria to the bathroom. I just wish I knew where the damn thing was. After about ten minutes, I finally find the door marked 'Boys' and head in.

After I washed my hands and face, I was stuck trying to get the small blood stain off of my shirt. I had just gotten this shirt too. And it was white. I swear the universe hates me. Because of my frustration with the hand dryer and my shirt, I didn't notice the guy standing there. Through the corner of my eyes, I can tell it's the guy from early this morning.

Finally, I give up and looked at the guy who had just witnessed my failure at a battle with a stain. He looked ten times more handsome than this morning. From this angle, you could see the fullness of his lips and fit body. He looked taller standing only a few feet from me. When our eyes met, I had the sudden urge to run into his arms and have him sooth me. As if he was the answer to all my troubles. But I quickly dismissed that fantasy when I saw his face of utter disgust. And I threw away any chance of even being friends as he started backing away from me. Muttering something about a mistake and how everything was wrong.

Then, with a fierce growl that could only belong to an animal, he left.

Left me alone in the bathroom with a new feeling of emptiness and rejection.
