Happy thanksgiving everyone, a bit early, but this a holiday poem, I will do a holiday poem every time a holiday is near, hope you enjoy!

That silly dog of ours we own
Decided to cook this year
Our great feast on a day,
Meant to give thanks
Was the exact opposite
The one year we let
that foolish little dog cook
He snuck a bite every ten minutes
The turkey down to bare bones
By the time we would eat,
The potatoes were mushed,
The gravy was as boring as bread
Nothing seemed exciting
Without that delicious turkey
Next year, mom and dad
Are cooking all the food
