5. Beware..

Beth's POV:

It's been an hour since I got a call from Liz. She told about Lisa's unexpected visit to earth. It was very odd; Lisa never left her realm unless it is an emergency. She had only visited twice ever since we came to this mortal world. So something is seriously going on with Liz. She needs my help now.

Beth was very eager to meet Liz. It has been more than a year, she thought. The last time I had been with her was on my birthday. She organized a surprise party for me and also invited Lisa and her boyfriend. We had a very good time together.

It's not the same now. We have to be very careful not to get anybody's attention. There has been a rumor that drake's son is in search of a girl in the league of light clan. And he also learned that the girl was not in the clan anymore. So either he is searching for me or Liz. There is no point in chasing me; I am not a powerful witch. There are many great witches in my coven. So it has to be Liz. She is the one who is precious to everybody. So we have to be more careful than ever.

Lisa has called me yesterday and confirmed our meeting location and also said that she has to do some invisible spell to protect Liz from unwanted eyes. If the rumors are true then it has to be taken into care immediately. On the other hand the prophesy was very clear that only Steve will find her. I hope Steve will be there soon to protect her. So no matter what will happen today I won't expose her.

But why the hell drake's son was interested in Liz. It is said that Drake has a son but he left his father's kingdom when he was very young. He didn't want to be a part of his father's evil kingdom. Nobody has ever seen him after he left, in fact his own father didn't know about his whereabouts. It is all we know about him. We didn't even know his name yet. So why he is searching Liz now? The league of light killed his father a long time ago. So there is no point in taking revenge now.

Even if he wants revenge he has to attack the entire light clan, so unless he knows the truth about Liz he won't search her. But it is impossible to learn the truth. I have no idea what is going to happen in the future. But prophesy was never be a lie.

I need to ensure that he won't succeed in his plan no matter what it is. I can't do this on my own; I need somebody to help me. I need to find Steve before he finds Liz; I want to warn him about these rumors. Steve was elder than us; he has been in the light clan for a very long time. He was there at the time of drake's death. So maybe he knows something about his son.

I closed my eyes and said, "God, please help me to find Steve".

I have to protect Liz. She is the one who could bring back our home into the glory once it had. She sacrificed everything for me. She even lost her family. I owe her my life. But I was not strong enough to perform finding spell to locate Steve. Even if I do the spell, I will go unconscious and who knows how long it take to gain my conscious again. So I didn't want to risk myself today. I need to pickup Liz in an hour.

Once again I prayed to God. Suddenly I was feeling very cold as if I was covered by snow. It was weird; I turned around. Something has changed but I don't know what it is. It's like somebody is trying to contact me; I feel like I was in the middle of a snowy forest.

And there I heard the same voice again.

It said, "Beware of what you wish for".

I was frozen completely.
