10. Unexpected visit

Beth was feeling very tired today. She was totally exhausted. She received a call from Lisa saying that the book of Light was stolen; she was panicked on hearing this. It was the most ancient book belongs to the most powerful witch called Spansee. She engraved every spell she practiced in that book. This book could be a threat in wrong hands. One has to be very strong to practice those magic otherwise it will consume them but unfortunately nobody was strong enough to do every spell in the book.

So whoever stole the book must be very powerful she thought. When she reached home in the evening she was feeling like someone was watching her. She sensed evil power in her home. So she quickly grabbed her magic sword and sneaked into the hallway, no one was there. So she moved to the kitchen and looked around, nothing.

She grabbed her cell phone and ran to her bedroom upstairs. It was empty but she has the same strange feeling. Suddenly she was feeling like somebody was choking her throat so she ran to the kitchen and drank a glass of water. As she was about to move she heard the sound of glass shattering. She was still holding her sword and turned around. There was four cloaked figures in front of her each holding their sword. They wore black mask so she couldn't see who they were.

Her heart was racing inside her. She didn't know what to do using her magic was not a great idea now so she decided to fight them instead. She swayed her sword towards them and they attacked her with their black magic. Beth was blocking the magic with her sword but she couldn't hold it very long. She was losing her fight; she was feeling dizzy suddenly she saw a shadow of another man and she fell down.

He fought the cloaked figures and killed them in a minute. He helped her to get up from the floor and she blacked out. After sometime she gained her sense and slowly opened her eyes to saw the man who saved her. He was sitting in front of her with a glass of water.

Beth looked at him with wide eyes.

Hey relax it's me he said.

I know. So you are back in business huh?

Yeah, he smiled. So who are these people? He asked pointing towards the dead bodies.

I have no idea. Maybe someone is trying to track Liz. By the way do you got my message she asked looking into his green eyes.

Yes I got, that's why I am here. But I have no idea that you were in the middle of a fight. I see that you are finally a witch he said mockingly.

Hey do not laugh at me; I am doing this for Liz.

No I was glad that you have accepted your family heritage.

So what got into your eyes? It was blue last time she asked.

Why everybody is curious about my eye?

Don't know. May be you look too handsome and charming and everybody was jealous she said.

Are you jealous?

No, not exactly. You look like a serial killer in those evil eyes she said.

Ok, coming to our point why did you summon me?

First I need to be sure that it was you who is sending those anonymous notes to Liz.

Hmm..are you sure of it? he asked.

Yes, I saw the way you fight today, she winked at him. Secondly Liz was in danger.

What? How do you say that? He asked.

I heard that Drake had a son back then and he is searching for Liz now. I don't know why she said.

They talked about all the possibilities of why he is looking for Liz, but ended up with nothing.

Do you even know his name? she asked

Yes, Felkon was his name, he said.

Do you know any other thing about him?

No I don't he said. But I will find him if he is after Liz.

I recently heard about an attack in Scotia she said.

What? In Scotia?

Yes, the book of light has been stolen. Something terrible is going to happen. We need to be ready, she said.

Okay. How is Lisa holding up with everything?

I don't know but she has lots of thing to do; she seems to be busy. Do you thing all these are connected to Felkon? I mean the attack on me and on Scotia she asked.

I think so he said. You are a Spansee witch right so maybe they want something from you beside the book.

She nodded thoughtfully. Did you see Liz?

Yes he said grinning.

She smiled. Keep her safe Steve. She needs you more than me now.

Yeah I will he said. You need to help Lisa; you remember that I can't enter Scotia for a while he said.

Yes. Stay in touch she said.

He smiled and walked away quickly.
