21. The final battle

I will rule Scotia forever and you will be my queen and I will make him to sleep for eternity, he said pointed towards Steve.

You will never be a king Felkon, I said.

How dare you say that? He yelled.

You were not fighting for you people; you are fighting for yourself. You are selfish; you never know what family and love mean. Family is strength. You never get the loyalty and honor as he did, I said.

He looked at me angrily. I will kill him he screamed madly.

Suddenly we were blinded by the flash of bright light. Lisa and Beth came forward with few other warriors.

I was shocked. I said I can handle him. Why did you come here? Did you got my message? I asked.

Yeah we got your message Liz. I prepared everything in Scotia; my mother will lead the battle. I came to kill Felkon, Lisa said.

No you are wrong his army was invincible. They can't be killed. Scotia needs you, I said.

He is the key to win the battle Liz, said Beth.

What?

He bounded his entire army with his life so if we kill him then his army will be long gone, Lisa said.

You evil witch, Felkon yelled. He was frightened and confused.

Meanwhile in the Scotia:

The people were asked to stay in the underground secret chamber until the war was over. They were provided with food for a day and water for a week. The members of the league were surrounded around the city walls outside ready to face their enemy. The witches of Scotia were surrounded inside the walls. The battle horn was blown and they aimed their arrows towards their enemies. Like an ocean wave the arrows washed as many people as it can. But they healed quickly.

Warriors of Scotia were now aware of their sorcery. Since they can't be killed witches started to enchant the protection spell together. But their arrows sucked the life out of the people. So as every warrior of Scotia was killed they gained their power. So Scotia lost its strength. Witches can't hold longer.

North wall of the city was broken but the warriors of Scotia fought with faith and courage. They fought until their last drop of blood was sucked out from them.

In the land of fallen:

The sound of Swords chattering was echoing through the entire mountain. Everyone was fighting ferociously. But Felkon moved swiftly and blocked their every attack.

Since their arrow was sucking everyone's energy, Felkon's army gained power. As every soul it took he gained power so he became invincible. Everybody was exhausted by fighting him.

So Lisa quickly planned an idea.

"Watch out Liz" Lisa yelled. At the same time Felkon's sword penetrated into Lisa's chest. Everybody was shocked.

You gonna pay of this, Liz yelled.

He smiled devilishly.

As her life was slowly drifting away Lisa looked into Felkon's eyes and mocked at him.

He couldn't pull his sword out of her. She is holding the sword by her spell.

Suddenly Liz called for Steve and she plunged her sword into his heart and at the same time Steve pierced his heart from the back. They both crushed his heart from outside.

Slowly his life was taken away from him. Beth pulled her sword and sliced his head. His Lifeless body rolled down the stairs. Beth trapped his soul to stay forever in the land of fallen so that he can never be alive again.

Everything seems silent. They won the war with sacrifice. Lisa was gone. Liz took her body and held it in her chest and she cried.

Suddenly she saw her ghost smiling at her. "Give my body back to my mother" the ghost said and vanished.

Liz nodded.

After everything was over Steve said that he is going to live in the caves until his banishment was over.

I will come with you, Liz said.

It is not the place for the princess. The people of Scotia needs you Liz, Steve told.

If I ever go to my home I will go with you, she said.

It's okay Steve we can take care of everything until you come. You two need some time alone to figure out your past life, Beth said.

He nodded thoughtfully.

Why are you banished? Asked Liz.

I let the king of Scotia to die alone. Even though I was taken with him, I never fought to protect him so I was banished from Scotia after my arrival.

So Steve and Liz went to live in the caves with Sheila and they handed Lisa's body to her as she asked.

Victory was beyond Scotia. They lost many warriors. But they slowly build everything back into its glory and mighty once it had.
