19. Bloodline

As we slowly climbing upwards a ghostly figure came and stood in front of me. I stopped at the stairs; my body was chilled.

What is it? the guard asked.

Can't you see her? I asked.

Who is there?

My mother, I said. She pointed her hands towards the cave upstairs and guided us there and then she pointed to the box at the far end of the cave.

As I reached towards the box, I stumbled down the stairs and blacked out. When I woke up I saw a girl's body lying in the darkness of the cave. I went to see her. My heart stopped to beat.

It was Beatrix. She was dead. I promised Beth to bring her back but I was failed. Suddenly I heard a voice.

I turned to the direction and I saw Beatrix Ghost.

Please don't mourn for me princess. I saved myself from him to protect Scotia. If I were alive I could never save my home. If you honor my death, go now and open the box, she said.

I was taken aback by her courage and kindness. I ran to the stairs upwards. The guards came running to me.

Where were you? We lost you for sometimes as if you were vanished into air, a guard said.

I was here. Unfortunately nobody can see the ghost except me.

I went near the box and opened the lid. I was shocked.

Steve was there. I thought it was my mother. But it was Steve. He was lying there lifeless.

How did you come here? A voice came from the corner.

Suddenly the guards surrounded me armed.

Do you think you can steal him from me? I said.

If you want him alive you have to come with me, Felkon said.

I turned around and saw Beatrix and my mother near the box. He couldn't see them I thought. They were pouring their magic into Steve's body.

I will never come with you. Why don't you show me your real face? I said.

Are you eager to see my true form? He smirked.

No, I think you are afraid to show your ugly face.

He laughed. Are you afraid that I will be handsome than him?

No, you are not worthy to disguise like him; you are not worthy of anything he has, I said.

Do you think I am not worthy of him? he yelled.

"No, you bitch" he screamed Suddenly.

I turned around and saw my mother and Beatrix slowly vanished into thin air and Steve stood up from the box.

He looked at Felkon in utter shock.

Get her out of this place, Steve ordered the guards.

No, I won't leave you Steve.

Steve came and stood in front of me and swayed his sword towards Felkon and asked, "Who the hell are you?"

Who the hell am I, he laughed at him hysterically. You are pathetic Steve, he yelled.

Felkon took his sword and aimed at Steve's sword and said, "Welcome back brother".

Lisa was worried about Liz. She was seeing bad omen. She needs my help, so she asked Beth to come with her. As they were ready to go the land of fallen the guards came back with her message and they handed the wounded witch to Lisa. She was severely injured; she never gonna make it Lisa thought. They send her to the emergency room and Lisa went to her mother to seek her knowledge.

As Lisa went to her, Sheila was waiting for her.

"Hurry to the land of fallen to save them my child. Liz and Steve need your help. Felkon is there. He has grown stronger so gather your kinsman and few witches and march to the mountain" said Sheila.

Felkon's army was marching towards Scotia; they will come here before I reach her. Who is gonna leads Scotia then, Lisa asked.

I will lead Scotia. You go and bring them home. Felkon is the key to win this war so if you kill him then peace will be ours. You need to be brave and wise my child, she said and kissed her forehead.

Sheila gave her final blessings to Lisa and they both departed. As their army crossed the river Lisa, Beth and the few people hurried to the land of fallen.
