(Here it is, thou long awaited update)
Okay, I sort of already covered this already in an earlier chapter, but I thought that I might as well revisit this topic now that I'm on it.
A few days ago, my history teacher was talking about how kids don't have common sense. Statements like this usually don't bother me all, but it was what he said immediately afterwards that upset me.
"Being ageist isn't as bad as racism or homophobia."
Excuse me, sir.
No matter what kind it is, discrimination is still discrimination. Yes, in your eyes you may not be doing any harm. The person to my left may think the same thing. But what about the person to my right. Behind me? Just because I am a child doesn't mean that you can place me into a stereotype and I'm not gonna say anything about it.
Discrimination is what has caused a lot of the problems between human beings (slavery ppl). Age discrimination was obviously not one of them, but you get my point. Hopefully. All I'm saying is just because someone is lower than you doesn't mean you can judge any human for the mistakes they haven't made yet. Bottom line is experience and common sense are two completely different things.
Speaking of common sense...
Since I go to a gifted school, all of us are held to a higher standard academically, but when it comes to the staff's faith in us with anything not out of a textbook, we are held to a lower standard than other schools.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but my scouter is sensing a hypocrisy level...
THAT'S OVER 9000
OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH
(I am so sorry)
YOU ARE READING
The Hate Book
HumorThis is not "My Version" of Parogar's "Haters Gonna Hate", but it was an inspiration. I realize I'm going to offend a lot of people, but if I cared, I would have stopped writing a while ago. *Hardly any offensive language*
